No chance Kudus, Solanke, Tel or Maddison stay in Champo. They most likely would be loaned out. Like you said though, Maddison and Kudus have been out for a long, so a small chance. But players don't waste a year of their short career in the championship (with greatly lesser pay) very willingly. I would also guess teams will be lining up for Archie Gray.

Playing youth is clearly a big plus for Iraola. I just don't think he is much better coach than Howe, if better at all.
-
In a way I agree, but Howe insists on athletic runners and wormanlike teams. With this king of football we end up fighting places 4-8, and signing overpriced mediocre players. We need to find value elsewhere and a manager that can adopt and change his plans during a game if things doesn't work out. Howe has too often decided "more" when he should have decided "something else this doesn't work". And we are not even close to challenging top4/5 now, and most likely will not be next season either with Howe. We have a 60+ million striker he doesn't know how to use and aging squad.
-
The big question is: We need a rebuild and we need to sign cheaper, younger players abroad that we might be able to sell. Wilson can find these players, but does Howe accept this change in the way team is build? Does he want more control and "prem proven players"? If we can adopt, then I don't think we will see a change. Although I think Eddie's tank is empty and he, at least with the current squad, doesn't have ideas. Iraola is another high intensity manager who gets the best out of mediocre players, but I don't think he is going to get us any higher than Howe.

Yea dont understand how Brobbey wasnt sent off. That was a shitty move
-
Romero out for long it seems. Their defence is woeful, and even worse without him.
-
Iraola is not the answer. He is a small club manager that plays high intensity basketball football. There are certainly great coaches available, but I don't know if we have the guts to make a bold move.
-
Howe has done a great job, but he has hit the ceiling. We cannot play passing game, we cannot play through the lines (always to the wings) and our best moments come from pressing very high with great intensity, and our squad doesnt allow that with European schedule.

Like I said, we are totally shit these days. Slow, no threat whatsoever, no intensity, players not performing. -
Brobbey with an awful push on Romero, who collides with Kinsky. Totally unnecessary.

If either team manages to score, that team will certainly win. This is awful game. -

No intensity, and our top 6 lacks all ability to pass and create something. -

Osula is just useless -
I think there are many better teams than Porto in PL.
-
Maybe so, but why would our scouts fly to Portugal to watch him, when they can see him 38 times in a season in UK? I don't know who gets info and where, but that just makes no sense.
-
And Wilson knows him very well. Total bs rumour this. We might be looking some Porto players more likely.
-
If Tonali goes, then Anderson is decent replacement yes. Willock will certainly leave. edit. With Bruno and Tonali, (and Miley) we don't need Anderson. City will offer him more money so we are not in the races.
-
At 65 million Anderson would take huge chunk of our budget, and CM is not really a position where we need new faces...
-
We have absolutely no chance for title in years, nevermind who stays.
-
I thought it was mentioned already that it is going to be 5-10 million fine.
-
To be honest, you won the Euro 2020...
-
60-70 million player is, at least for a team like us, someone we cannot cope without. Is Livramento that good? I wouldn't say so. Great player of course, but big English tax.
-
Yea, but it is a bit different with a fullback. Modern fb has to have lungs to go up and down the wing all game. Winger has the responsibility of scoring and assisting. Is Gordon worth 60-80 million in that? I doubt. His pressing and running are valuable to Howe's game though. Livramento is that good at giving the final pass. But is he worth 60-70 million? No, especially with his injury record.
-
I think he is an athlete first and footballer second. And likes to think himself and his stats quite highly. Good player, but much easier to replace than someone like Bruno or Livramento imo.
