The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Conference League (at least)

Well, they are 3rd so not much But I would say we need to win Chelsea and ManU at home, and not lose against Villa. Other games should be fine. Draw against Arsenal and even that one defeat is not a catastrophe. -

I think Forest's style suits them playing on the counter against bigger teams. Can see them dropping points against mid table and lower teams. -
The ease? He was constantly creating something. Put few very decent balls and one was headed away at the last moment by Tripps. Likes to cut in to his left foot a bit too much.
-
Gave the ball away quite a lot. His lack of legs also hinders our pressing. Joelinton was great again.

What is that

Dead tired

Ffs first Murphy doesnt pass, then penalty to Brentford
-
Did so well until the last pass scratch that

I think xG doesn't tell much in their games. They are deadly on the counter and have very little possession. Opposition has the ball and some kind of control, but do they really have many dangerous chances? I mean counter attack counts as 0,00 xG if you mess the key pass like they did couple of times yesterday. They have been lucky, but also they have been hard to break down. -
Defending-wise he was ok. On the ball not so much. Both of our goals were created from that side though. He was in a difficult place that is true, but how much would he cost? 30 million or more?
-
Liverpool certainly need a centreback, they are buying at least one, but maybe 2. And that is because Quansah is not seen as good enough. They have no issues with PSR, and if they had, Kelleher is leaving anyway, they might sell Robertson etc. I am saying we should definitely aim higher than getting Quansah as our starting CB. Especially because he would cost a fair bit and would help our rivals.
-
The fees are usually not a good value for money though.
-
I agree. But Quansah was total crap in the cup final, and if he leaves Liverpool it's because he is not good enough. Why would we replace Schär with a player like that? As a replacement for Lascelles I would understand it. And I agree Schär's level has dropped and he is aging. Next year will probably be his last here.
-
Wait what? Schär has been decent again this season, and his passing is a great option to have. We don't need Quansah at all.
-
Why would we be after Cunha? He is not a RW certainly and would cost a fortune. Mbeumo would make sense, but ManU can offer him higher wages certainly. Still think we will look abroad, cause we need a number of bodies.
-
Very much doubt it. We would be in trouble again very soon. We really need a squad anyway, with RCB and RW being top players. Doesn't mean they have to be 50-60 million players still. We don't have a single very good keeper (Pope and Dubs are okay), our defence is aging, our 2nd striker is leaving on a free, we don't have a right winger of any sort except Murphy... Our squad was too thin last time in the UCL, let's not make same mistake again.
-
And we cannot use 50 million on one player, when we are after GK, RCB, RW, Striker and maybe some other squad players.. We have no one to sell (hopefully) this summer, so we are not going to spend 200 million.
-
Mitchell will look to continent and a lot cheaper alternatives for Mbeumo or Guehi. Interesting to see but wouldn't surprise me if our days buying from EPL rivals are gone.
-
Arsenal do not need a slow midfielder, who would cost a fortune. I really don't get these bs news.

Fuck me thank god they wasted that -
He can only pass with his left foot, and when not under pressure. Colwill is left footed ? I love the lad, but tells a lot about England squad

If we win home games, that should be enough certainly? Then 1-2 good results away -
Wilson looks truly finished.
