  1. Defending-wise he was ok. On the ball not so much. Both of our goals were created from that side though. He was in a difficult place that is true, but how much would he cost? 30 million or more?
  2. Liverpool certainly need a centreback, they are buying at least one, but maybe 2. And that is because Quansah is not seen as good enough. They have no issues with PSR, and if they had, Kelleher is leaving anyway, they might sell Robertson etc. I am saying we should definitely aim higher than getting Quansah as our starting CB. Especially because he would cost a fair bit and would help our rivals.
  3. The fees are usually not a good value for money though.
  4. I agree. But Quansah was total crap in the cup final, and if he leaves Liverpool it's because he is not good enough. Why would we replace Schär with a player like that? As a replacement for Lascelles I would understand it. And I agree Schär's level has dropped and he is aging. Next year will probably be his last here.
  5. Wait what? Schär has been decent again this season, and his passing is a great option to have. We don't need Quansah at all.
  6. Why would we be after Cunha? He is not a RW certainly and would cost a fortune. Mbeumo would make sense, but ManU can offer him higher wages certainly. Still think we will look abroad, cause we need a number of bodies.
  7. Very much doubt it. We would be in trouble again very soon. We really need a squad anyway, with RCB and RW being top players. Doesn't mean they have to be 50-60 million players still. We don't have a single very good keeper (Pope and Dubs are okay), our defence is aging, our 2nd striker is leaving on a free, we don't have a right winger of any sort except Murphy... Our squad was too thin last time in the UCL, let's not make same mistake again.
  8. And we cannot use 50 million on one player, when we are after GK, RCB, RW, Striker and maybe some other squad players.. We have no one to sell (hopefully) this summer, so we are not going to spend 200 million.
  9. Mitchell will look to continent and a lot cheaper alternatives for Mbeumo or Guehi. Interesting to see but wouldn't surprise me if our days buying from EPL rivals are gone.
  10. Arsenal do not need a slow midfielder, who would cost a fortune. I really don't get these bs news.
  11. Conference League playoff round, so not sure yet. We might well do Partizan Belgrade there..
  12. I don't think our shithousery was that bad. Not many "injuries"
  13. He can only pass with his left foot, and when not under pressure. Colwill is left footed ? I love the lad, but tells a lot about England squad
  14. If we win home games, that should be enough certainly? Then 1-2 good results away
  15. How the hell Burn loses that header? Wtf man
  16. Does Tino have a left foot at all? He has had 3-4 times the chance to just put it in the box with his left.
  17. We have been playing better, but they are a massive threat when we lose the ball
  18. Where the fuck is Barnes and Murphy when they should be defending?
  19. Yea, true. Game is much more tactical than 20 years ago. Losing the ball is a criminal offence today. Hatem as a no 10 behind the striker would still work for many teams. Of course you have to do something without the ball, if you are not Messi. I just happened to watch Arsenal-ManU "premier league classic" game from maybe 2004 or 2005. What a team both had, but dear lord the amount of long punts to nowhere, defenders just heading the ball away, straight back to opposition etc. It seemed like pure chaos compared today. Then occasionally someone like Henry goes past 2-3 players and creates a chance out of nowhere. I mean the number of easy passes to teammate must have been fraction what it is today. Didn't remember it being like that when I watched it live
  20. Hatem would make it in a certain role. Salah doesn't track back at all, stays high to wait for a counter. It's just how you set your team up.
