  1. I simply just love him. We really need to remember how lucky we are to have him.
  2. Would probably take him he’s played at some top clubs and would be good depth for next season. Help him realise his top potential, he’s an upgrade on anyone we have other than ASM is the way I look at it.
  3. I don’t understand that though with some people he was incredible for Bournemouth kept them up in the PL for 4 years and relegated on the 5th with probably the lowest budget in the league. Relegated on the last day of the season but were pretty much already down. The football he played was always a joy to watch. For years was always touted for higher jobs like Man U, Spurs, even England. Like Burnley they are up and down like a yo-yo every season but I bet most would’ve been happier to appoint Dyche and his murderball. He’s not a big fancy name but we should be privileged to have him leading this club and hopefully he is the man allowed to take us to the top with his endless knowledge of the game.
  4. To add to my previous post about potential superstars and to sign some added quality you just have to look at the likes of teams such as Leipzig or even wolves. Signing players from the likes of Salzburg or Liga NOS the talent is there at a small fee compared to some players already at a huge price these players should be scouted and identified. Luis Diaz absolutely killing it at Liverpool is another example of these leagues having players more than capable of stepping up. Also any player watching us should be chomping at the bit to sign for us and good riddance to the ones that rejected us in January. Would still love Botman as he clearly wanted to and still does want to come hopefully he doesn’t go to Milan though.
  5. I’d probably go all out for Patrick Schick or Nunez. Failing that maybe someone like Jonathan David, Simeone or Scamacca. Also like to see us sign either Nkunku or Pacqueta. Look at how much of an impact Bruno has had on this side. 1 or 2 superstars take this team into the top 8. Added in someone first team improvements in depth maybe CB or GK we have a solid solid team. Spend about £150M and get rid of some deadwood. Factor in that we have Tripps to come back too and undoubtedly Howe improves everyone of the players here and that signs from now until the first PL game of the season.
  6. Quite a lot seem to be in likes of Munoz which is encouraging bud Jay Turner Cooke too who’s been on fire recently.

    Joe Willock

He’s back. He’s going to the top with us.
  8. Looks good to me could see possibly the likes of Murphy or dubs away too and wood too maybe. 6-8 new players all pushing or coming into starting 11 with hopefully a few younger players late teens coming in to challenge like I’ve mentioned before like poaching from the likes of Chelsea (really like the lad Colwill).
  9. He’s came in done a job of what’s required without the goals but he’s helped change the foundation of the team and be a focal point to hit he’s never gonna be out starting striker for years to come probably only the next few months but I’d like to see a youngster from the 23s or even 18s get a chance when we look safe.

    Joe Willock

It may not seem like it right now but if he can keep this form going until the end of the season catches the eye enough to be in the England squad, he’s gonna be one of the main stars in this team just gotta show it and keep it going.
  11. I’ll be honest knowing Trips was out and also ASM was in the squad today too I feared a little, West Ham are decent and up there challenging for UCL and UEL. Was kind of geared up to come away from the game with no points but hopefully not a too disheartening defeat that bursts the bubble. However what a tremendous attitude the lads shown and performance. The way Howe has came in and turned this football club around is unbelievable. Another few performances and wins like that and we will be on an even better journey.
  12. Would love to see us expand/ upgrade SJP but would hate to see us move from where we are. Definitely need to upgrade the training facilities for players and youth something like leicesters state of the art complex would be impressive.
  13. Having took a keen interest in Bournemouth before they came up, the way he identifies and improves players is excellent. He’s not afraid to take risks, he turned league 1/2 players into very good premier league and top championship players. He manages to get players to buy into his ethos. As someone said above near his Bournemouth end he started to bring in European players but he gets also the help he needs he brought in a multi language speaking first team coach to help with those players. He will most likely dedicate his life to the job and put 110% into it. He gets players with the right characters hence why he did so well but he’ll be a massive part of recruitment with his staff. Even his coaches he brings with him for example near the end of his Bournemouth tenure when he was slaughtered for signing Solanke as he didn’t have a good start to his career there but he improved him massively as a player. But Tindall his assistant got a real tune out of him when he took over and he’s now arguably one of the best players in the league now. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him turn up here but I’d like better. Another top coach he has is Purches who is supposed to be the one who does the behind the scenes work with all the top qualifications. Howe is a cracking guy and still pretty young and I really do see him being a force for this football club and declaring himself as a top manager this may well backfire, but he knows what’s required but he knows the game well, and a class coach and man manager. On his time off as said above too he went to other countries and top teams to study them and expand his own knowledge. I hope he is the man to take us to the top, don’t need fancy or big name managers do it with one of our own.
  14. Is he one that steps up for first team or simply to get a better fee ?
  15. Assume we will just find him another job to do
  16. Seems promising as we need to do better with regards to our youth system. Who’s our current academy manager.
  17. Hopefully he can be a massive part of our future and gets to show what he can do next season as we will need some players trained at the club to fill those European cup quotas
  18. We are massive now but I think most would agree although we need experience if we bring in too young talent they’ll be here for years to come and help us win trophies.
  19. I wouldn’t even want Kane tbh if he came then great but been very poor this summer he’d be best going to a PSG, Barca, Real where he’ll have it easy and be world class again.

    Joelinton

I hope Howe doesn’t still feel the need to allow him further up the park. His stats are tremendous but a central midfielder and plays like a box to box so he’ll get chances too.
  21. https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2022/02/10/guimaraes-former-team-mate-could-now-join-newcastle-for-free-in-summer/?amp Interesting that
  22. Think there is great room for improvement if we stay up in the summer and will definitely be exciting. Got a list of players I’d like us to sign or think we should go after, not saying any will happen but would be nice if they did. GK - Oblak I liked that shout from someone earlier. Livakovic he’s been touted as a top young prospect for years but stayed at Zagreb could be a good opportunity to persuade him to move and fight it out with Dubs. CB - Would still love for us to go after Diego Carlos and Botman in the summer nothing much needs said on them. Would like to see another possible one like Tarkowski but not much need if we get the above 2. Would quite like to invest in youth here with Levi Colwill from Chelsea being a purchase that he could be a Lamptey already made Prem player in Chelsea reserves. Another is Ronnie Edwards from Peterborough who’s started 17 games in the championship for them at 18. RB and LB - Calvin Ramsay from Aberdeen is 18 and really excelling for a poor Aberdeen team this season he’s there shining light one for the future to take over from Trips… Renan Lodi would be a great acquisition at left back played in Simeones team and will be pretty similar to Trips with the fight and dig, helps Bruno settle too. Wouldn’t mind going back in to look at Bakker or Targett permanently. CM - Crucial part of the team so another superstar is needed. Fabian from Napoli playing at the top level in football left sided of the 3 slots in perfectly and good going forward. Florian Grillitsch, can play in multiple positions but best at DM out of contract in the summer, also like Boubacar Kamara or Tolisso for here. Another attacking midfielder is Lucas Pacqueta pretty self explanatory he’s an excellent player and will link up with Bruno, can also play further forward and out wide. Arsen Zakharyan tremendous Russian talent at 18 and could be a real find, 17 games and 4 goals for Dinamo Moscow this season. Wide Areas - Brennan Johnson and Chris Willock. Both having tremendous Champ seasons and would make the step up on current form, either one of those would be great and HG, I’d side with Johnson on age but Willock has Joe here too. Jesse Lingard well known and available for free in the summer. Christopher Nkunku my top target for the summer simples can play anywhere from CM to ST and Wide. ST - Jonathan David flying for Lille this season and second half of last season, amazing for Canada too, he’d be my number 1. Darwin Nunez another top striker but not as great league and more of a risk for the money involved. Osimhen really good player and we’ve already been linked but maybe too expensive for the fees being touted same for Isak. Ekitike would be nice but better options out there he’d be one of my last targets. Others may include, Jordan Veretout, Faustino Anjorin, Patrick Schick, Maxence Lacroix, Cole Palmer, Amadou Haidara, Ben Brereton and there’s a few exciting prospects at Derby that could be nicked off them. I’d like a lot of 16-19 year olds from domestic or foreign to be invested in and make us a real force for the seasons to come and these players possibly make the step up.
  23. I don’t see why Joe Willock should be dropped when he is just starting to recapture his form. I think we all know shelvey should be dropped but there’s a chance he drops big JL as he had an ongoing injury but would be sad to see big JL lose his place. What’s weird is by putting Bruno in for any of those 3 it won’t weaken us it’ll firmly improve us which is hard to get the head around but his time will come.
