No doubt that Trippier was one of best buys imo. But yeah, should have sold him in January. Said so at the time aswell so not being captain hindsight.
-
The last 15 games were Trippier has played above 45mins in the PL we have a record of 3-4-8. Whatever it is we are missing, it isnt Trippier in his current state. Do agree that we miss an in form Trippier though, but I doubt we will get him back.
-
Whoever picks up a good form and can bring in some serious cash, dont think anyone should be "safe".
-
Would be silly to give the captaincy from one bench warmer to another
-
I wouldnt complain too much if we finished 6th/7th, not enough for him to get sacked atleast. Cant deny that i hoped for better at the start of the season though, considering we didnt have Europe to focus on. I dont think 6th/7th is the direction we are heading for now though.
-
Yes he had a bad half against Dortmund and got hauled off at half time and didnt get a single minute for a long time, even when we were struggling big time with fatigue and injueries. Not exactly confidence building.
-
Guess we have a different read on that situation. To me he didnt wait until he was ready, he waited until he didnt have any other choice. Hall was Chelsea`s best player in those last games before he joined us.
-
Are we going to have a new Lewis Hall situation were he isnt going to feature until we literally have noone else and then he turns out to be great?
-
Did he get another kid or something?
-
Depends on how you look at it i guess. Yes we got robbed by the penalty decision, but we also got massively outplayed in 5 of the 6 games(although we defended well). Yes we got seventh, but we also only won 4 more games than we lost. And ALOT of the performances were just truly awful. Yes we had a couple of good games before these last 2 games, but before that we had a run of us being very poor in nearly every single one. We could have been third (temporarily), but we sure as shit didnt deserve to win today. The fact is that we are 10th and probably have gotten more points than we should have. Now i dont think most of us that are negative believe that Howe should be sacked asap, we just think that if things doesnt improve soonish enough that the writing is on the wall.

Im really conflicted because of the things you mentioned. You can see me getting my hopes up every time we play good. But its getting harder to ignore that most of the time lately we just dont look like we have a clue what we are doing. I would love for him to turn it around, its just not looking like it.

Think we have a decent chance, home against the top teams are when we are at our best. Guess Liverpool spesific doesnt fit in this though. -
He apparantly has a decent amount of brain cells, so he knows these things.
-
We looked like shit, but Tonali was great
-
Think we are really missing this guy being in form. Our downword spiral coincides pretty much perfectly with him fucking up his personal life.
-
Did we win far more than we lost? +4 in PL and -2 in the CL. The results were decent overall considering the injuries, but way to many performances were we looked totally lost like we have done most of the games this season.
-
Its not looking good.
-
Really doubt we going to make big signings in January, we need to have a war chest ready if we are going to attract a top manager incase Eddie needs to go.
-
Maybe just me overreacting but I think his time should be over if shit doesnt change soon. Its been ages since ive seen us been consistantly good. Also dont see us ever playing a type of football that allows us to dominate most games with him. Which is what we should be aiming for. We only really excel at parking the bus and being good on counterattacks.
-
Im officially depressed.
-
Surely not today with the way Tonali has played.
-
Tonali permanent freekick taker pls.
-
Tonali is awesome.
-
Got to face it i guess, we just arent a good team anymore.
