Stop the panic Let this 11 settle a bit
-
Most of us knew this, he’s been getting praise because he came into the team when we hit serious form and hasn’t really had a lot to do
-
Postecoglous head would have exploded
-
It’s just about what to expect here selection wise, it’s not Howes style to start unready young players and risk losing any momentum here
-
Spurs side lacks so much heart and character
-
Yeah, I suppose another big contract would help him feed both his families The guys a walking ego, no surprise he’s off now
-
Says enough about his character, of course he wants to bail out mid season when they are having a disaster
-
I’m not so convinced, it’s a pretty much like for like replacement with the squad they have at their disposal. There won’t be much in the way of changing style or system, so they are essentially banking on the emotional connection of Moyes to get them 17th. This is no long term answer, they have just flipped a coin. They were stable enough under Dyche to survive imo, it’s a risk to bring Moyes in now. I reckon it could go badly.

Ashley Youngs son doesn’t seem up to much didn’t even know what day the fa cup draw was on as an 18 year old looking for his first start.
-
Horrendous attempt at playing him offside
-
What a waste of bandwidth that article is

I think there is a good chance that this is the season Everton will finally go, their squad is awful but I’d have expected Dyche to get enough out of them to stay up. Just look at their players.. they can’t be expected to play positively so surely the new manager will be of the same defensive, grindy mould? I’d have just stuck with Dyche. It’ll be Moyes I reckon. Sacked a few hours before a game with all the shit he’s dealt with there to..

And the cycle continues

Personally I feel that Kelleher is a huge upgrade on Dubs (and an upgrade on Pope to). It’s inevitable that we move for a goalkeeper that can actually use his feet at some point.
-
Did he dive into the floor? None of the players seemed to notice
-
The rate that he has improved especially defensively is mental, because his overall defending was a much weaker part of his game by the end of last season although his minutes were limited. Hes essentially becoming Trippier reborn, but could be end up being better than that.

Pretty sure thats the same guy who said Haaland would flop in the PL
-
I’m not disagreeing with anything you said, all I’m saying is I think I interpreted TCDs post differently to the way you did. It was clear that Tonali best position was 6, I actually had doubts about Bruno being played further up rather than Tonali at 6. But he’s so good he alleviates Bruno’s lack of athleticism/physicality.
-
I understand what you are saying that the positions/roles are not the same anymore, all I think TCD meant was that Tonali can essentially do everything Longstaff could do from RCM but from deeper on the pitch
-
Think what he meant was that Sandro provides everything that Longstaff does from RCM but he can do it all from #6 deeper on the field
-
I felt like him and Willock were even tighter tonight than Isak and Joe usually are, perhaps I’m wrong though. Looked like it was by design as the combination of the two of them in close proximity of a high turnover would have given Arsenal huge problems. Wasn’t Willocks best night, but I think he was under instruction to do most of his work off the ball.

You said it better than me
