  1. A point away at Arsenal would be a fantastic result. Winning would require the best away performance in the league so far this season from the lads, it’s a huge ask.
  2. He very rarely goes 2 games without scoring, place your bets for next week now
  3. Spurs rested half their team today, it might mean they go full strength on Friday - as you’d think they’d not want to go into the final having just had a pasting.
  4. Forest have win both games to finish above now, thanks to goal difference. So annoying Chelsea and Villa are playing the two clown shows on Friday, as either dropping points would make life a lot more relaxing. No chance of that though
  5. If Man Utd don’t win this there’s a good chance they fail to hit 40 points this year.
  6. A goal up in a must win game - maintain the shape, keep discipline and wait for the moment to strike for a second. The main thing is not to get carried away, let the pressure stay on Chelsea.
  7. Basically the lads are going to have to do it themselves, getting no favours from anyone else
  8. Recent? Are you talking about games ten years ago with a completely different team? Am not sure Jack Colback and co will be preying on Isak and Bruno’s minds tbh
  9. Yes, although putting any hope in spurs is desperate indeed. At least watching spurs lose the final will be funny, and can guess which spurs players have transfer requests in their socks Pascal Chimbonda style, Levy sacking the manager on the full time whistle etc. etc.
  10. Yamal is better when they bring him into the attacks later. Barca players have kept asking him to do too much.
  11. Selling Pope for £5m and signing Trafford for £20m on a 5 year contract probably produces a minor PSR improvement next year assuming similiar wages. Of course there’d then be a cost it later years. A new contract for Pope would be the other option which is cheaper still in PSR terms.
  12. Be quite happy if this turned out true. Chelsea Forest play each other and Villa have a terrible goal difference, so it would be a great opportunity
  13. Only the cup final had more hanging on it. If Forest lose tomorrow and Villa get beat by Bournemouth it might become a must not lose by kick off rather than a must win, but IMO a defeat and CL dreams are over.
  14. I am guessing they’ve spotted capital spend is outside scope. So they think they can buy a load of houses (capital) and rent them for income and remove any PSR limits. Maybe if this ludicrous plan works PIF could sell NUFC a few oil wells and we’re laughing
  15. Some of the players have probably spent the last week on the piss, so maybe rotating them out is a good thing
  16. Don’t put any hope in Spurs, everyone should know that by now.
  17. That’s why they run themselves so badly, to even out the playing field.
  18. Given his performances he knows he’s going to be at Man Utd another 3 years seeing out his massive contract.
  19. Unlike those 3 he is a squad player and part of the group. Sures he’s probably paid a bit too much in wages, and his transfer fee is now too much given his role, but talent wise he’s absolutely fine for his role in the squad.
  20. If Liverpool spend the week on the piss the way Man City did last season before losing the FA Cup, Chelsea will win. If they decide to enjoy the rest of their games instead they could take Chelsea to pieces - going to depend on their mentality.

    Scott McTominay

A mobile Kevin Nolan is like an oxymoron - I just can’t imagine K-No getting round the pitch at speed.
  22. I’ve been in low level corporate at Emirates and Stamford Bridge and this was the drinks offer. Food was also bang average and pricing criminal. Am not saying it’s good that the club are pursuing the same model but unfortunately I reckon it’s standard
  23. Villa played 8 games in 25 days, only peak Man City and Liverpool have managed to successfully handle that sort of load in recent years. Shame they ran out of steam after playing Newcastle! Arsenal are only still going in the CL as they’ve let the league go. A reminder for next season - and Villa even refreshed their squad in January

    Marc Guehi

Bug factor for Palace is if the manager gets poached
  25. I’m delighted Villa have got binned out as now I can happily support Forest tomorrow. Had Villa got to the final I’d have been keen for Man City to win tomorrow to handle Villa. I think it would be class if the two cups were won by Newcastle and Nottingham
