If Amorim wins the Europa I can see him walking away. Clearly not enjoying himself, can say he won something and go off and join a normal club.
-
Freak results do happen, but that’s what Spurs or Man Utd taking points off Villa or Chelsea would be. Of the games I think Spurs getting a point away at Villa as the most likely as I think Spurs will play a decent side. It’s clutching at straws though. Villa may have had a historically bad record at Old Trafford but honestly I think that is the easiest fixture possible on the final day - whether they win the Europa or not.
-
I agree they have better depth but way better? Take out their loan players and I think it doesn’t look quite so good for them. Put it this way, I wouldn’t swap squads with them
-
Hoping these clowns win their next two matches. I am ready for disappointment. Spurs winning the Europa is clearly better for us. Ange is shot and players will actively avoid spurs in the summer even with CL. If they win they might be daft enough to keep Ange for another season too. Man Utd with CL could manage a half decent rebuild, without it and with a manager who has lost the plot, losing the Europa probably leaves them drifting for another year. Amorim is going to walk away at some point. It’s not about financials with them, they’ll still throw money around most clubs can only dream of, it’s about who would say yes to them.

A point away at Arsenal would be a fantastic result. Winning would require the best away performance in the league so far this season from the lads, it’s a huge ask.
-
He very rarely goes 2 games without scoring, place your bets for next week now
-
Spurs rested half their team today, it might mean they go full strength on Friday - as you’d think they’d not want to go into the final having just had a pasting.
-
Forest have win both games to finish above now, thanks to goal difference. So annoying Chelsea and Villa are playing the two clown shows on Friday, as either dropping points would make life a lot more relaxing. No chance of that though
-
If Man Utd don’t win this there’s a good chance they fail to hit 40 points this year.
-
A goal up in a must win game - maintain the shape, keep discipline and wait for the moment to strike for a second. The main thing is not to get carried away, let the pressure stay on Chelsea.
-
Basically the lads are going to have to do it themselves, getting no favours from anyone else
-
Recent? Are you talking about games ten years ago with a completely different team? Am not sure Jack Colback and co will be preying on Isak and Bruno’s minds tbh
-
Yes, although putting any hope in spurs is desperate indeed. At least watching spurs lose the final will be funny, and can guess which spurs players have transfer requests in their socks Pascal Chimbonda style, Levy sacking the manager on the full time whistle etc. etc.
-
Yamal is better when they bring him into the attacks later. Barca players have kept asking him to do too much.
-
Selling Pope for £5m and signing Trafford for £20m on a 5 year contract probably produces a minor PSR improvement next year assuming similiar wages. Of course there’d then be a cost it later years. A new contract for Pope would be the other option which is cheaper still in PSR terms.
-
Be quite happy if this turned out true. Chelsea Forest play each other and Villa have a terrible goal difference, so it would be a great opportunity
-
Only the cup final had more hanging on it. If Forest lose tomorrow and Villa get beat by Bournemouth it might become a must not lose by kick off rather than a must win, but IMO a defeat and CL dreams are over.
-
I am guessing they’ve spotted capital spend is outside scope. So they think they can buy a load of houses (capital) and rent them for income and remove any PSR limits. Maybe if this ludicrous plan works PIF could sell NUFC a few oil wells and we’re laughing
-
Some of the players have probably spent the last week on the piss, so maybe rotating them out is a good thing
-
Don’t put any hope in Spurs, everyone should know that by now.
-
That’s why they run themselves so badly, to even out the playing field.
-
Given his performances he knows he’s going to be at Man Utd another 3 years seeing out his massive contract.
-
Unlike those 3 he is a squad player and part of the group. Sures he’s probably paid a bit too much in wages, and his transfer fee is now too much given his role, but talent wise he’s absolutely fine for his role in the squad.
-
If Liverpool spend the week on the piss the way Man City did last season before losing the FA Cup, Chelsea will win. If they decide to enjoy the rest of their games instead they could take Chelsea to pieces - going to depend on their mentality.

A mobile Kevin Nolan is like an oxymoron - I just can’t imagine K-No getting round the pitch at speed.
