Play to the whistle, you never know
-
Man Utd have Lindeloff, Maguire and an 18 year old with 3 games to his name in their back 3. Garnacho not in squad - Villa will be licking their lips
-
Palace will be a competitive side in the Europa but their budget will be much more equivalent to the rest of the teams, unlike Man Utd or Spurs. Likewise Forest if it’s them.
-
Henderson is there as a coach more than a player, like how Howe used Ritchie here at the end. That said, crazy not to take Wharton and hard to see how he’s going to get a balanced midfield from that lot, unless he asks Rice to sit. Tino incredibly unlucky given Walker is fading and James cannot possibly last in a tournament
-
Very much enjoying Anges boasting, as if finishing 17th and scraping the Europa was all part of his master plan for the season.
-
I know his petulant whining puts a lot of people off but I think Ange is a great asset to the league, he’s great value. His teams play a crazy fragile style that tends to lead to lots of goals and chances at both ends, if Ange stays and they shop well they will be an entertaining side next year. Plus the media is totally under his skin now so will get plenty of funny moments after Spurs many defeats. I don’t promise that, I guarantee it, mate.

Really wish Kelly the best, came from a very difficult background to become a PL player and now is at Juventus, a great story and he’s a great role model. He’s not deserving of some of the (older) comments on here
-
Man Utd have incredibly low player salaries as they are such a well managed club with earnest players, unfortunately they have been the victim of the greediest tea ladies, kit men, receptionists and cleaners in world football, thankfully Sir Jim is sorting those bastards out
-
Am sure the resident Man Utd fan is on his way to explain how this is in fact a good result and part of Amorims master plan. I think 30% chance Amorim walks after this. Reflects and realises life in Portugal is much better than managing they shit show
-
After tonight’s results Everton can’t catch anyone or be caught by anyone, complete nothing game for them.
-
If I was sky id wait until after the Europa final…then pick the loser. Atmosphere will be toxic
-
You answered it yourself earlier, nobody pays like Man Utd. Mbeumo could probably get 300kpw/16m a year out of them, and 150kpw out of anyone else. Hard to say no to those numbers.
-
Massive overreactions in this thread. We’re told there aren’t PSR issues this summer so why sell? Because he’s had a dip this season? His performances and goals against Arsenal twice in the league cup were crucial. He’s a good player and will have a great year next season. Whenever they lose a game a load of people go totally overboard
-
Everton are 13th, have nothing to play for and the home record against the bottom half is incredibly good. Its a golden opportunity.
-
Very strong Arsenal line up. A point would be fantastic. Hope the boys keep calm and remember the big game is next weekend. Wilson is very limited these days, people need to set their expectations accordingly. He can only influence things in the box.
-
He has a year left on his contract, if there’s somewhere he wants to go, he’ll go there. He has enormous power this summer
-
Ever since Haaland got that mad new contract he’s been ineffectual. The half the point of him was to get goals against teams sitting right back by winning stuff in the box.
-
City gone pretty attacking, could be good game. Palace for me too, really like some of their players, decent fans, even if it means Parish winning a cup
-
Going to be an absolute meltdown in here when they lose tomorrow, followed by a massive reversal when they beat Everton and finish 4th.
-
At least one of Man Utd and Spurs will get what they deserve and come to regret how they’ve treated the league. The loser of the final will have a broken manager, a team that finished bottom quarter of the league, a livid fanbase and a big hit to the finances, not to mention a shit squad. Im pretty sure it will be spurs in this position, and they’ll have no one to blame but themselves
-
Without their first choice central defenders they are garbage (they aren’t ver good with them either, but without…). As palace found out last weekend
-
If Amorim wins the Europa I can see him walking away. Clearly not enjoying himself, can say he won something and go off and join a normal club.
-
Freak results do happen, but that’s what Spurs or Man Utd taking points off Villa or Chelsea would be. Of the games I think Spurs getting a point away at Villa as the most likely as I think Spurs will play a decent side. It’s clutching at straws though. Villa may have had a historically bad record at Old Trafford but honestly I think that is the easiest fixture possible on the final day - whether they win the Europa or not.
-
I agree they have better depth but way better? Take out their loan players and I think it doesn’t look quite so good for them. Put it this way, I wouldn’t swap squads with them
