Has Eddie fell asleep?

The angle from behind showed it was a dive. We’d demand a pen at the other end but he’s tried to buy it But take Burn off now!
-
Every away game is like this tbh
-
Some of those in the clip are pretty bad like But for years they had a soft side that let other teams rattle them. My only complaints about Joelintons behaviour are when he loses his head and it’s no longer controlled. Am hardly going to take grief from Arsenal, spurs, Everton etc etc given some of the brutes they’ve employed over the years.

Yes, hopefully the players and fans sabotage the season before they realise they’re doing ok
-
As much as I love Wilson I’ll be fuming if he puts in anything other than a Wilson 24/25 season performance.
-
Hugely hugely impressive, but absolutely impossible to keep playing every game in a season with European football, so glad Howe has started rotating early in the season. Only way with the fixture list.
-
Nice for your kids to see their father for a bit, shame today’s draw meant their bedtime got sacked off
-
Of course he’s going to go to AFCON, we knew that when he signed. The injury is a major downer and no way should he go in November, he’s not fit.
-
He has basically signed as Shearers pal but he did a good job.
-
Allen was merely a poor mans Nicky Papavasiliou

The next step is to breakaway from the other 13, financially and on the pitch. On the pitch Consistently finish in the top 7, ideally top 5, and build a consistent European competition presence, competing in the business end of European tournaments. Win trophies regularly- including a European one. Not every season but enough that a player signing for Newcastle knows he will get silverware at the club. Off the pitch build revenues to support a bigger squad on more money, plus bigger transfer fees. Use the greater on pitch performances to drive higher commercial revenue as the club become more marketable. When a top 6 club falters, take advantage, finish above, push them out the CL, and reach a point of regular (say three in a row) CL qualification. Achieve that and then the league is on. IMO it will take another 4 seasons to reach that point, and there if all goes smoothly.
-
At least 4 points from the next two league games is pretty important in getting the league position back on track, so a bit of a must win if we want to see a top 5 finish. Don’t want to drift too far behind. Agree this is a great game to score early in and see if their atmosphere turns rotten.
-
Agree - they just played in Incredibly defensive teams that conceded few goals.
-
I would have been tempted to start Ramsey, considering the mileage the midfielders put in over the international break, but can’t complain overall
-
I liked him for the Hollywood passes but his form was erratic and he did seem to be injured a lot. He’s one whose days were numbered as soon as the takeover happened but he left with goodwill. I don’t think anyone would have complained if he’d been around another year or two.

It was coming.(x2) England are an enjoyable watch here (as much as they can be against such a boring and limited opposition) With England Im not convinced whether the 11 has the quality to win the WC, but Tuchel’s tactics are starting to settle and it looms good (some of his early games were a bit wacky tactically).
-
Loved him when he was tuned in on the pitch, got the pleasure of seeing his great goals from the stands, and also sadly they horrific injury at Man City. Provided some great moments when those were a rarity, but he wouldn’t last until lunchtime with Howe. Howes mentality can be summed up in one word - intensity - something HBA totally lacked, and that’s why HBAs best moments are stuff like goals in the early rounds of the cup, rather than finals. HBA had the career he deserved.
-
I think Tuchel has now moved to the right formation, with Bellingham to come back 4231 is a better fit with two sitting than 433, and he’s kept width and pace on the flanks…but that 11 is not going to trouble the best teams. Except for a couple of positions there really isn’t much elite level depth in the squad.
-
When you’ve made a terrible appointment best thing to do is acknowledge it and get them sacked, so I don’t blame Rangers, now that Sunday is done and the 3 points are in the bag I’d recommend Forest do the same.
-
Trippier Bruno Burn As others have said its mentality as much as anything. Isak would be 4th for me. Tonali is my favourite signing, but that’s a slightly different question.
-
I would be amazed if he didn’t start Joelinton in this game.
