If - as seems likely - Isak was made promises by the club which weren’t met, then he would be justifiably angry with the club; both in terms of where the club would be and in particular in terms of a new contract. Hopefully the new CEO will end the smell of rank amateurism which has been emanating from upstairs for some time. That doesn’t justify in the slightest his actions - he acted like a cunt and he is a cunt. All footballers are ultimately mercenary in nature - I’ve never bought the ‘I proper love the club’ patter that they all come out with - but Isak showed a complete lack of professionalism in his actions.
