It will be like that time he was filmed filling petrol into someone used Kia picanto. there will be some unpaid intern who’s walking around barefoot so he could convince us he’s normal.

Was there ever a reason given for why our various training/stadium range doesn’t have a sponsor on? im sure the club have it all under control but seems surprising it wasn’t required in the sela deal if it was scrutinised. or do we reckon something wasn’t sorted in time? Could be more funds as a new deal next year? I think its manure who have different sponsors on the different ranges

51,000 x £16.55 = £844,050 51,000 x £70 = £3,570,000 i can see why we don’t want to sell him 51k shirts at £16 vs £70 (bet it’s £75) through the club shop. from a totally unbiased position, it’s a shame other retailers can’t stock our shirts. Although I suspect there isn’t such a thing as an independent sports shop anymore anyway. but, from a biased point of view, we need the ffp cash and that’s a hell of a difference in money. Even if we weren’t making it a JD/club shop exclusive, we shouldn’t be selling to him anyway.

Ive googled it a few times and there does seem to be something to this tiers and elite nonsense. But as you say I bet it’s not as rigid as the internet adidas fanboys want it to be. nufc: hey really looking forward to this mutually beneficial deal. what can you do in a long sleeve? adidas: can’t do any. nufc: but we are the most Northern team in the PL and play half our games at home during winter, most of our players are from abroad. adidas: yeah sorry, you’re not elite. nufc: ffs, ok let’s look at some potential designs. adidas: yeah, i mean we can give you a template we already use. Nufc: ffs, ok home about some retro training gear, just some classic designs adidas: nope, elite a++ tier only nufc: you could literally just stick some print on badges in something you already make, like one of your templates! adidas: no chance, we would rather not make the money nufc: ok, what about some pencil cases adidas: you can’t have them, but we could do some of our template white pencils. nufc: ok send over the pen and pencils adidas: we said pencils, pens are for tier 2 and have to be amortalised over the length of the contract divided by ffp x tier group… you have 1 pencil sharpener design with adidas written on, no logo. No wonder the shit show that is castore have been able to hoover up so many contracts for shirts and kits Anyway, most of the adidas fanboys are saying we are elite tier so shouldn’t matter anyway.

Oh well, it was nice to go to sleep with tentative hope. looks like we’re back to being the guy who wins the lottery but can’t find his bank card.

He might not get WiFi down in his garden and he doesn’t know.

ashworth seems to be highly thought of by pretty much everyone he has ever worked with. That’s the impression you get from every interview or bit of info anyone ever has on him. He seems to be given the credit for everything from Brighton’s savvy business to Englands youth success. But there does seem to be a lack of detail in what he actually does. Putting 2 + 2 together, I suspect the guy is the worlds top mentalist/mind control expert. ask anyone who rates him so highly to explain what it is he actually does and they are always a bit vague. Keep pushing and they gaze off into the distance. Their voice softens and they say in a hypnotic tone, Dan is like the centre of a wheel, there are 7 spokes radiating out from that wheel. Dan is the best sporting director, watch as the wheel turns, watch the wheel. the guy has mind fucked everyone and is always sat on full pay in his garden.

No, couple of differences, hence it looks like someone has described the shirt to two different people who then drew their interpretation. or could both fakes done by the same persons
-
They look like someone who’s seen the shirt described it to two different people who then drew it. share a lot of odd details for a couple of shirts someone has just decided to make up. God knows though.

If done for a positive outcome I don’t think it’s pointless. if he broke the rules while under FA jurisdiction then they must investigate to send a clear message it won’t be tolerated. where the outcome has to be positive is not destroying the guys career or making him more likely to relapse or ruin his life with a new non consecutive ban. what they should be doing is using him as an example to existing and upcoming players. You break the rules and we will come down on you. BUT if you have a problem with gambling and if you are betting on games stop. Come forward and tell us, we can work with you to get help and support. Come to us and you get help and support rather than harsh punishments. the problem is the same as many addictions, if the law is punishment you’ve criminalised addition, which I know many in here dont believe is an illness. But punishing and driving illness and problems further underground doesn’t help. It 100 percent needs investigating, the outcome is the important bit and what message the FA end up sending out.

Do we eventually find out what his 50 offences are?

Didn’t say he was the worst, I was jovially implying it’s a bit hysterical to say tonali is the worst signing we have ever made….

I don’t know, I still prefer him to Stéphane Guivarc'h.

I was only 9, but it felt like a massive shock compared to my blue star/mcewans tops when it was revealed. I wasn’t sure from the pictures from the pre-order brochure, maybe due to it being so different compared to what I had always known. however, on delivery it felt extremely special and a different class of shirt. I don’t think there will ever be such an iconic shirt, as it really felt like such a change in terms of style and materials. I don’t think that’s really possible these days.

Wow, £85 or £120 for the fancy one. That’s just ridiculous. I can see why so many talk about dhgate. £65 per kid for a top. Jeez.

Kier starmer has called for Nike to change it back. so rishi is going to have to out do him and demand a portrait of the queen is added to all future kits.
-
Those stats flatter him too. Maybe my brain has scrambled the memories. But at the time it felt like we had some incredible luck and Jammy wins.

was the decision not to call it the English premier league made back in 91/92 then on that basis? I actually find it annoying that in the last few years the EPL is suddenly being used as it was never called the EPL, always the FA prem league, the prem or the PL. the term EPL seems to have been pushed massively in the last few years.
