Should be outlawed until after a player has played and we've seen what they're like and capture some element of zeitgeist. "He turned you down" I always hated the sentiment but at least it was from the "its coming home" summer.
-
Total opposite for me. They had it on repeat when we did a 'Monks day' at primary school, so reminds me of celibacy. Principles of Lust by Enigma on the other hand.

Feels more like a genuine NUFC project signing than going outside that comfort zone with JSL

What I cant believe is one of those plane spotting posts came up trumps. Don't know what to believe anymore

Got Barcelona, albeit yet again, for the romance and PSG aside, can get something out of those other games with some sentimental stuff with Athtletic thrown in. Don't get the problem at all. Villa's draw last year was freakishly easy but this is the CL. This is no different to any we've had before in difficulty/glamour.

Tight as I am I'm fine with that fee relative to the other quotes we've been getting. Resale value bcked in, maybe even an increase even if he weren't to pull up any trees to Bayern in the future. I'm no more or less convinced by him than Sesko or JSL on the park but the business feels much better.

We've already done that when Dalglish was here. Played without a striker in half the games.

Guess you've made it when every tie you get in Europe against a big club is a repeat or threepeat

Even in that much smaller sample than were judging Amirom on performances were massively improved and even those results were an improvement on 0 wins in 9 of Bruce and 0 wins in 12 pre Howe overall. Just going off what I've seen here Sir Bobby managed without a big signing to turn Gullit's team completely around. There was a massive upturn when Roeder replaced Souness. Keegan with Kilcline and a free transfer got more points at a relegation bound team than you got finishing 2nd in the final 16 games of that season after he arrived. There's a concept of 'new manager bounce' for a reason, its nowhere near 'almost every manager needs transfers' levels for managers to show something. Admire the defence mind, just think its based on nothing.
-
Should he even be reliant on transfer windows if he's all that as a coach? Nothing stopping him at least showing some signs of improvement in the interim, Howe noticeably improved us whilst Man United have gotten worse. That's usually what you expect from managers whilst giving them time. Its not just time for the sake of it. Though because of the new rules it makes no difference to them whereas our sticking with Dalglish, Souness was setting us further back in the biggger picture by the week.
-
The whole point for us is to improve. Jury's going to be out for a while whether that's what this would be. Isak, Wilson out and for example Sesko and Wissa in plus a profit to invest in someone else down the line could have been seen as that.
-
Much as I obviously don't like Man United, often disliked them more than anybody, I'll always concede them that. Think they're actually the best away fans in my time going in numbers, noise and consistency. Leeds 2nd.

These love getting knocked out of cups in half empty grounds before we've even been drawn out of a hat. Even me step-sisters partners brother once scored against them for Huddersfield whilst turfing them out in this
-
£50m not enough to sign this bloke? Well I'm certainly glad FFP came in to stop these ridiculous transfer fees.

Oliver Holt's is scandalous. He's obviously taken this 'cartel' craic very personally for some reason despite definitely being a Stockport fan and Stockport fan only. He was also snooty at the concept of 'get into them' a concept I'd have thought fans of clubs like Stockport would understand more than most.

We've lost 5points for playing fair in two games. May as well have lost another 4-5 for saying 'f*ck it, the gloves are off'
-
Last time they won, won ffs, 3-2 here they went on the same way, ridiculous that we put in so much effort under Rafa and were even having a go at Rafa for it.
-
Knew (called) that they/he'd be classless about it because he nearly got shown up, bitter entitled c*nts

On my life. Didn't watch or follow the match except for checking on here, pretty sick of football tbh. Got the window open, its dark but really warm and am watching out for a hedgehog out there. Heard some whooping and cheering from down the street so got up and heard a "come on" from a woman. Realised what it was because next two doors down are mackems (not match going or all that bothered unless its a big game ones), checked the scores and sure enough.
-
Everything in their favour, man advantage, unsettled our squad, we've no striker, financial rules in their favour, extremely not in our favour, 10' stoppage time whenever not winning, have to scam a last gasp winner and there will no compunction about any of that from their fans and the media (one in the same eeally), probably be bitter that we put up such a fight, usually are.

Everyone else is supposed to 'grow organically' yet those clubs don't even try to get out of the shit or move up the table a bit organically nevermind grow from a flat start despite their infrastructural advantages
