  1. I absolutely hate that there's no revenge for us, which would be the just thing, cos of how football is stacked now. Just got to get treat like this and let the cunts prevail, indefinitely. I'm not long for a mugs game like that.
  2. He probably wont after he gets a standing ovation for leaving the Mags. After beating us, this is the best footballing experience they've had.

    Yoane Wissa

Was wracking me brains to think who the 6 was, and am again, Mal Donaghy perhaps. Its post Moran I think

    Yoane Wissa

Think Frank Pingel was no9 first game I went to but only for a couple games, scored mind so the legend lived on. But permanent full-time no9's had a great run of it for 15years from then, Mickey Quinn > David Kelly > Andy Cole > Les Ferdinand > Alan Shearer
  5. Least we can finally all admit Tomasson was lifting for us.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

PSR made them untouchable long before now. There's no competing with clubs ahead of you that can spend more money than you every year indefinitely, football has allowed it to happen
  7. Waste of time keeping him and a waste of time letting him go on loan.
  8. Way over the top. Sheffield Wed fans will have violins out because we had to sell a striking player to a cartel* club for under his value but still well over £100m. Its a sorry state of affairs without question the way its come about but its pretty standard footballing hardship at the end of the day (selling one of your better players to a richer club) and one that was inevitable given the regulations beyond the player going on strike that nobody could have foreseen. When I've been saying 'cartel' I've 100% meant it, its not hyperbole or joking, that is what it is. I mean, its undeniable after this summer. This is the sort of things cartels do
  9. This is early days of PSR too. Every year henceforth they'll have more money to spend than everybody else no matter what happens. How fucking shit and monopolised is it going to be a few years down the line.
  10. That football club and its fans were in total agreement on that......until it was them that did it
  11. Every summer we don't qualify for the CL we'll be selling players and that was the case before this Isak situation. Us and any other club that manages to challenge the 6.
  12. Absolutely. Was thinking earlier in the week Woltermade, another striker and another midfielder for Isak would be quite titilating. More so that simply adding Wissa and praying Isak would play again.
  13. We all knew we'd be selling players this summer if we hadn't qualified for the CL and on an on-going basis because of PSR. We know others clubs are in the same boat and that this isn't some PIF hoodwinking scam. Villa are in the same boat minus players going on strike. Its not McKeag revisited. Surely we knew that whilst desireable Isak being left to rot was unprecedented and highly unlikely especially in a PSR climate. 120-140m for someone who may very well not play all year? Nobody else wants or can afford him, we cant make clubs be interested and able to afford him and snatch him from Liverpool, whilst desireable. We talk all the time about who PSR hinders and helps and what a crock of shit it is, with us being at the top of the list for clubs it holds back Surely we knew were not competing with these clubs anytime soon because of that and most of us have agreed we've done great to get CL twice and win a cup given the circumstances. We've been pipped to signings all summer by cartel clubs as if any evidence of any of that was needed. The predictions for this season probably average at around 6th-8th. I just don't get the hysterics as if all of this has just dropped now. other than it being 20m less than we wanted. A previous poster is probably right, people need to move on to something else because Its not going to get better than you've had it these last few years unless the rules change. This is the limit for us and everybody else outside the top6. I know I'm considering it and I'm not even one of those in hysterics. But am certainly not blaming the club.
  14. He was never going to be elite for us ever again even if he actually played for us ever again
  15. Symptom of judging the overall picture on the most recent game not the other way around. Don't know how people can cope like that. Its bad enough the other way.
  16. This was called "downbeat" in a response 2weeks ago, many in agreement. Well...
  17. Said in the pre-match that playing a team that's just had a hiding is often not a good thing. Fear sharpens the mind.
  18. People got chewed out for picking up on this 8month ago
  19. It was after 10minutes in a game we went on to win 8-0
  20. So many goals getting rule out now. Who knew there was so many wrongfully allowed goals before desperation to rule them out came in.
  21. Not that confident about winning this. Depends on the team but am mindful of playing teams that have just been towsed. Minds get sharpened to avoid the same again. So wouldn't be sniffy with a draw.
  22. Could tell from the point of his elbow that was 'offside' and cost us a win at Liverpool, never forgave it
  23. When I was a kid we'd all moan if the Sunday game involved, or worse was between, Man United/Arsenal/Liverpool/Spurs again and the rare alternative games were almost always better. Kaveh was the sort of cunt that moaned if it was anybody but one of those teams he probably pretended to support to feed his smugness and still is.
