Its over. Good lad, part of the fabric, would like it to work but after holdin down the fort to a degree he's painfully falling behind the pace of what's required for us now - more Brian Kerr than Lee Clark in that regard.

37 since Dubs came back is damning. 14 games each. Dubravka -34 Pope - 14
-
We've given up though. Apparently.
-
People were going on like that in the 18th minute long before any 'giving up' - what's the rationale behind that?
-
The slim chance of winning it is outweighed by how many games that will be and the damage it will do to domestic competitions. I'd be more concerned if we qualified than if we didn't about next season.
-
Cant come quick enough no matter what these ramifications are.

Some posters can't cope with not being top 4-6. Like fucking Arsenal fans already.
-
Aye 1-1, it's the most 1-1able fixture for us that doesn't involve Wolves. Will take it.
-
They've got less points in the top division than Wimbledon in the last 40year. A club that's not existed for 20years arguably has more of a shout.

Southampton playing 'we didn't start the fire' at half-time

FMV doesn't take into account speculating to accumulate from both parties. Whatever McEwans sponsored Blackburn for in 1991 could be argued to be too much but they soon became a premier League Force and won the title so McEwans got a great deal well under the going rate. May as well just tie sponsorship in with the money you get for finishing where you finish in the league. It's the sort of bureaucratic soulless thing they'd go in for.

Spurs, even though they're protected by ffp, have scrapped concessions for oap's re tickets. Fair.

I would just be guessing names (Patrick Kelly, Ralf Kiedel) between Caldwell and Hamilton too. Garry Brady is to the left of Beharral, don't know the others. Educated guess at Kerr next to McClen.

Sounds like the pre modern club shops were better than now nevermind since they went professional. Portacabins though they be with programmes from all over the UK which was exotic then, match videos (wish I got the lot now)and other merch akin to fanzine tshirts and stuff. All the strips and stuff. As has been said, like the back page now. That unofficial none corporate feel.

Walked past him a few times in Washington with that lass. Went to the primary care unit the first time, kept an eye out once the double take kicked in cos he's just a frail old bloke now as it would be surreal if he lived near me and we could hang out.

Saw on Leicesters forum last night the same discussion about atmosphere. Literally every forum I've seen does Liverpool, Manchesters, Mackems, Everton, Leicester and with Boro there's no need and we all seen the clip of Villa the other week. It's not an SJP/Newcastle problem but a generational/culture one. Places have a run (Forest) but average out eventually. It predated the extension cos I got sick of how it was and moaned about it in 98/99. Though mitigating circumstances the atmosphere pre Keegan was bad too, so standing and hardcore fans aren't the deciding factor.

All three went back down in 97/98 as I recall but not like this. We dropped points to all of them and didn't play well against any. F*cking Dalglish man

Maybe thats it. Just know from experience that up top at Old Trafford, Wembley and the Nou Camp for a view and feeling part of the game/relatable to it, just wasn't there compared to what you get in a 1st or 2nd tier and whenever I see some of these vlogs it looks no different anywhere else up a height as it does the away fan vlogs at our place. Just seems some people are expecting that to go away when it will in some cases be the same or even worse is.

Swindon conceded 100 (though in a 22 team PL)
-
In this dimension its not possible to build a big stadium anywhere or anyhow where many of the seats aren't 'level 7' esque in terms of view and distance from the pitch.
-
Abramovich deciding the spend his ill-gotten gains in the Premier League effected us more than anyone. Chelsea shoved us out of the CL picture when we were becoming established there. Jose would have probably ended up managing us. We were going to go for John Terry in the event that Chelsea did a Leeds.

Nowt worse than Man United winning and helping Liverpool win the title
-
Harsh on SBR that. Helder, Gallagher, O'Brien, Bowyer, Acuna were great value. Lua-Lua wasn't a bad at all at the same price as Des Hamilton and less than Guivarch and Andersson. Probably more hits than misses considering we begin in midtable.

Swindon away 91, think the 3-2.
