  3. So basically according to the media every fucker is leaving.... .... nowt else better to do during this "winter break", mugs!
  4. Not targeted at you @Ghandis Flip-Flop but have seen this referred to a lot and it's very odd to me that people regularly mention this stat about our record without Bruno as if it has genuine merit, it's 5 league games, and we only lost one of them which was at Anfield. It's such a tiny amount of games, we're currently on a run of losing 6 on the bounce in the league in games against 11 men with Bruno starting them all, that also doesn't mean a huge lot other than we're in a bit of a rough spell at the moment! It's been suggested that we can't even win games without him, that's complete nonsense and an absurd viewpoint, we aren't a one-man team. He's one of our best and most creative players so obviously there's a drop-off when he doesn't play, but if he leaves we'll be just fine, we'll re-invest the money and strengthen in multiple areas and go again without him. If he wants to stay I hope he stays and we build the team around him, Isak, and Botman, but if he wants to leave then good luck to him, I wouldn't blame him given his age, a football career is a short one, just don't go to fucking Liverpool!
  5. If he doesn't want to play the role then he should have everyone's blessing to leave, wish him well, and move him on. I'd much rather he stayed, but as I say, I don't think he can't be the main backup.
  6. I'm a big Callum Wilson fan, but he can't be our backup Striker going into next season, he just can't be relied on to be fit enough, often enough, to do so. If he's happy to be 3rd Striker then I'm all for that, would definitely keep him in that role and we'll have the best 3rd Striker in the league, he can do 20-30 minutes here and there when needed, but we have to get a player in who can be relied upon to rotate with Isak or play alongside him.
  7. Surprised you would use Spurs as an example given they've also bought multiple dubs in that position for big numbers, not sure Van De Ven is comparable to Botman either given how much criticism Spurs get for the way they play defensively (not blaming VDV specifically for that but still), haven't watched Spurs much this season to be able to compare. I think Botman is a top class CB with the potential to be World Class, would assume we'd sell him for circa 60m max, and we'll struggle to replace him for a similar amount, also there's the problem that defenders in that price range who are that good aren't coming to us just yet.
  8. Given the respective fees expected, I reckon it would be easier to replace Bruno than it would Botman, and as said, Isak should be untouchable unless he wants to leave.
  9. This! Don't give the twats the click and hope the fuck off.
  10. I haven't read many of the comments in here but the gist of it seems clear, and like many others during the game yesterday I was well and truly pissed off at the performance, arguably our worst under Howe due to the shock of it and the seemingly sheer incompetence of our team as a whole to defend. It was so fucking easy for them, could've easily been a worse hiding than it ended up. Do I think Eddie Howe is perfect, no, do I think he makes some mistakes in games that are costly, yes, is there a manager in the world who doesn't, NO! I remember being surprised reading a stat pre-season that teams who get back into Europe on average finish eight places lower in the league the next season, that's pretty wild. Then there's the obvious reason that everyone's sick of hearing now but the number of injuries just can't be denied, we've been battered. It's highly likely going to get rougher before it gets better with the games to come in the league, but we could lose the next four games and there's still no manager I'd rather see in that dugout than Eddie Howie. KEEP THE FAITH!!!
  11. I would snap agree to 7.5m for Ramsdale on loan rest of the season, would be great for us. It's 2.2m per place just in the league alone ignoring any other potential benefits, and he's infinitely better than Dubravka. I'll be surprised if we don't have a new goalkeeper in by the Sunderland game if not City 100%.
  12. Prioritising Liverpool away over Sunderland is fucking nuts, like seriously, completely absurd. Everyone's entitled to an opinion, but anyone with that one is just wrong!
  13. Will try not to read any comments on here for the next few days as I don't see much value in doing so as great as this place is, just hear to say: - Thank you Eddie Howe - Thank you Jason Tindall - Thank you to all the players and staff I couldn't be more grateful for having my club back. We've been battered and bruised in recent weeks but these things happen, as we do every fucking time, WE WILL GO AGAIN! You can't question anyone's effort. commitment, or desire for the cause. I've never felt more connected or prouder of the group then the current crop we have so I've got no complaints.
  14. Yeah, I disagreed with that as well, but we are in this spot now so the reality is this has now become our most important game.
  15. Sure, but we are now out of the League Cup and out of Europe, so we have top 4/5 to go for and the FA Cup, which single game would you highlight right now that's bigger than this? I think it has to now be our biggest game given it's our only remaining hope of a trophy this season.
  16. Quite surprised that we are the same price to win this as we are Luton on Saturday, make of that what you will. Don't think the comparison to Liverpool works @Geogaddi, one given how long it is since we last played them in comparison which makes the hype much greater, and two given how shit our recent record is compared to Liverpool's vs Everton.
  17. For sure they're no pushover, 4/6 on us winning is a crazy short price!
  18. Think Howe should've protected him tonight and insisted he didn't take a pen. He's having a bad period after being amazing for two years, everyone has a right to be pissed off, this one hurts me the most of all our results this season, but ffs given him your support.
  19. They already tried to get him before he came to us right? So he isn't going for money, maybe Ratcliffe changes things but besides that don't see him going.
  20. Ignoring everything else do you really not think his shooting is poor? It's not sacrilege to say something negative about him. Personally, if we can sell him for 120m and it enables us to spend 300m+ I think anyone who thinks that's bad for the club needs there head checked. At the same time I wouldn't be forcing him out, but giving the release clause doesn't seem like that's an issue!
  21. Most underrated player in black and white, need to put more respect on his name, 3 defeats in his last 34 starts, speaks for itself!
  22. Not knocking Anderson but I'm not sure how people think there's even a comparison besides they play a similar position. Miley is levels above Anderson already 100%, that's not getting carried away, he just is, this kid is fucking special!
  23. This is fucking class, love it !
