They have a very high % of conceding 1st at home and we have a very high % of winning games when leading, rinse repeat please!

Salah's ridiculous like, too good.

A lot of the contributions criticising Howe had zero balance though! Some of the posts about Howe and Tindall where fucking beyond disrespectful. Of course, it's fine to be critical, Howe will get it wrong sometimes, and it's more than fair to call that out, in a constructive way. Some of the comments and criticism where nonsense though, and hopefully some who contributed to that noise will be a bit less haste to be in the "Howe out" or "Howe's too stubborn to change" camps next time we have a blip and give the man the time and support he's earnt and deserves!

Mentioned it already a few pages back, but not bringing in a Striker in January will almost certainly come back to bite us. Who would be a viable option I've no idea, hopefully Eddie and co realise it's a must and are working on it.
-
Diaz minutes big concern for me or would've went for him, don't think him or Jota are viable options right now. Saka injury is massive, I'm doing ok (I'm mondatoon), but feel like ripping my team up now lol, could easy take a -12 or -16, no idea what I'm actually going to do.

Pivotal 4 game period coming up now, need to start it with a win here

Zero chance

Truly unbelievable what's happened to City, if they get a points deduction this season now god knows where they're gunna finish.

Anyone who has a Skybet account should take up the free shot today. Money back as cash on their boosted treble.

It definitely may not, if we don't do it then it seems effectively 100% we won't get there, if we do it then it's probably 80-90% we won't, bleak I know (and completely made up %'s to guesstimate something very tough to know), but just shows how absurd the system is we are operating under. If people have the opinion they'd rather keep players like Bruno rather than the small chance it benefits us in the longer term that's fair enough, for myself, nothing matters more than us finally achieving some success, I'm happy to take whatever the best route is to get us there.

Not to make you feel popular, but very nice post Buying low and selling high, and rinse repeating for the next few years, seems like our only possible hope in this ludicrous system to enable us to attempt to be competitive against the top 4. I don't see any other way of us getting there in the next 10 years without a major change in the rules.
-
It seems a bit redundant mate to quote a figure that 99% of people think is absurdly low, and I think you're mentioning it in reference to one individual comment, I assume most likely after a loss in mid rant mode (no offence to whoever that was lol)

Liverpool selling Coutinho and replacing him with Allison and Van Djyk springs to mind. I don't fully understand FFP, nor do I have any desire to do so, but I was under the impression if we sell a player for 100m we will be able to invest significantly above that figure from those proceeds?

Doesn't necessarily have to be short term only option, depends who's available, but it would be extremely risky, bordering on insanity, to think Isak can carry us the whole season, or that we can rely on Wilson at all, so it needs addressing now. If that means pivoting from our usual way of operating so be it, you have to be willling to do that sometimes.
-
I know we've been wanting to upgrade Miggy/Murphy for about 3 years but surely our priority in January has to be a backup Striker? If Isak gets injured we are in big trouble, Gordon hasn't shown he can deputise there and Osula is far too raw. None of them are ideal but we have plenty options with Gordon/Barnes/Murphy/Miggy all capable of playing on the right, and whilst I absolutely love Isak, one concern has been him picking up slight injuries multiple times in the past two seasons. Would be a disaster if we run him into the ground needing him to play the full 90 minutes most games with no rotation options. I think short term this clearly has to be the #1 priority.
-
No Aguero is absurd, he has to be in the discussion for #1 spot 10 best Premier League forwards and 10 best forwards to play in Premier League obviously two different things.

The message was spot on at that time, however, it doesn't now mean it should be used as a stick to beat people with if anyone has any negative constructive criticism against the club. I think some of the comments in this thread are beyond nuts, I think anyone wanting Howe out is a huge overreaction, but that's just my opinion, maybe I'm wrong. If I make a flag and get a few people to hold it up supporting Howe does that mean everyone then has to agree with me forever? That's effectively what people are doing with this banner.

Always found it very odd that people trot this out as if it was some huge flag that the whole of SJP held proudly to the world and we all have to stand by the message, rather than 10 people at an away game???
