I can see Eddie wanting to keep him but it depends what Wilson wants to do. He’d have to be willing to take a wage drop and have less time on the contract than he may get elsewhere. I’m sure Wilson will still back himself to do it at Prem level but at some point there’s got to come an acceptance that we’re moving on. But we absolutely cannot under any circumstances go into next season with Callum Wilson as our second choice option up front.

Good there’s no end of season round the world trip. What a farce that second game was last time, can’t think the players or Eddie were truly happy having to do it. Give them a break ffs.
