Eh? He technically hasn’t even signed for us yet and his transfer will go permanent this summer. How are they signing him at the same time as we’re signing him.
-
He’s got the tools and the perfect manager

Imagine if it’s Tosin or Kelly

U18’s with two wins in three days vs Leeds (2-1) and Middlesbrough (4-3). Alfie Harrison netted in both. Sean Neave with another goal in a good season.

Yeah, we should absolutely have no worries about this Manchester team pipping us to anything or when we play them at OT. -
Aye. Think he can make the Euro squad along with Trippier, Tino, Hall, Longy, Gordy and Wilson.

No affinity for Klopp. Not even an ounce of Stockholm syndrome. Just go away. -

Wouldn’t surprise if ham announce Moyes leaving at the end of the season after this. -
Big Dick Energy is back. Talking about their definitely real massive attendances and how our attendances collapsed to <8000 in the 70’s. Calls us “fickle” and says we have the record for lowest ever attendance in the north-east for a top flight game. He is incredibly weird. https://x.com/richenergyceo/status/1786751514465255901?s=46&t=DcLbGwd6hoDY9gGMy-ZgEw

Newcastle United vs. Brighton & Hove Albion: 11/5/24 @ 15:00 (No UK TV)

19th In the form table and no win in 6. Big Joe, Miggy, Pope and Trippier back involved. Last home game of the season. Attitude needs to be right. None of this playing within ourselves, waiting for the oppo to spark us into life. Just go at them from the off. Don’t give Man U and Chelsea any hope they can get 6th, it’s in our hands. -
It really is a throwback having this HGV relic come on for us in big old 2024. His time as a player here is done now though.

Longy before today -
3 assists in 2 games. He is the perfect squad player. Doesn’t cause problems, boosts morale of fans and teammates. Contributes when asked and pushes the levels of those ahead of him. When we were sending him out of loan to WBA and Sheff Wed I thought he was a goner, just didn’t see him carving out anything like the career he’s had here.

Kompany “we played against a better team, simple as that”. Too right you did. -
Imperious after a shaky first 5-10. Surprisingly good upper body strength/balance to hold off challenges and wriggle away from opponents. Magic left foot which is also a great alternative at set pieces. At one point I saw a blondie dashing back to mark his man, stopping Muric potentially starting a Burnley counter, and because of the pace involved assumed it was Gordon but looked again and it was wor Lewis. He’s not at Tino levels yet but not far off considering Tino has a lot more first team experience. Think we all knew he had qualities going forward especially after his goal v Man U but he has allayed some doubts about his defensive abilities today.
