    Next season

You couldn’t write this. Every draw we got last season was rake after rake, hitting us square in the face. Now, they’ve decided that they’re not going to allow the top teams to be drawn against other top teams so that these top teams can have a little breather. Bent is the shape they can get and off is a direction they can fuck.

    Paul Dummett

Could see him joining Williamson at Mk Dons

    Kelland Watts

Are we sure this guy exists?

Will be weird seeing him in the colours of another team, assuming he gets one.
  6. End of an era. Thanks for the memories Matt 🦵🏁 🫡
  7. Think it could be like this Arsenal away kit but who knows at this point.
  8. I do remember one of the early footy headlines leaks being a v neck, looks like that’s what it’ll be, if they’re trying to replicate the 01/03 SBR kit.
  9. Relegated before the season starts. So glad our financial rules don’t allow owners to spend outside of their means, carry massive debts, obscure revenue streams and things like this. God forbid we end up in a situation where a club is accused of financial misconduct, yet they continue to operate as normal, winning trophies and the like for years. No, rules are rules. If even one little “Leicester” slips through the net, they will be punished. You know, there’s trophies out there that these teams try to win. But they’re simply not there for them to win. Guys, chill. Leave it to the Manchester, Liverpool and London bros to take care of that. Relax and enjoy your “#PLexperience”. It’s simple for these clubs. Don’t break the rules and everything will be lovely. If you win a trophy, a league, a certificate you make sure you haven’t spent an arbitrary amount in doing so. Oh you have? Well, we’ll give you £70m for your best player to sit on our bench and we’ll allow you to carry on existing. You make sure that your profit and sustainability calculations match up to ones which no longer reflect the current climate. Owned by a state. Don’t worry. We have plans in place to make sure your unlimited wealth NEVER has any impact on the footballing landscape. You will not have to worry about accidentally loaning players from affiliated clubs and incurring fixed penalties or indeed, points deductions, because we will make it clear what you can and can’t do. Newly rich clubs spoiling your chances of every season champions league revenues. Have another champions league spot! Now there’s five of you! Five champions! Thank you for cooperating in helping to ensure that the Premier League remains the BEST league in the world.
  10. They haven’t got a scooby with us re goalkeepers. Window hasn’t even opened yet and it’s been Ramsdale, Mamardashvili, Trafford and now Jorgensen. Hopefully they’re being fed this to put them off the scent.

    Just an absolutely preposterous opinion.

Well, looks like Maresca is next. Even Chelsea fans are saying Boehly only wants “yes men”. Hopefully EM is ok with having players bought for him, thus not being able to implement his own systems and having Boehly pull HT stunts in the dressing room.

I’m talking about this season with the money they’ve spent

Congrats to them, they spent half a billion and finished 3 points ahead of us. Brute capitalism wins. If he wants to go to a club that has about three managers a season. Replaces you at the drop of a hat with someone more expensive (even if you’re better than them). That has selfish players who prefer individual praise over collective achievement. Take the easy road so he doesn’t have to move house. Chelsea are the biggest underachievers in PL history.
  15. Didn’t know that, thanks
  16. Weird. Article is the athletic but url is nytimes

If we’ve been negotiating with him this long and he still hasn’t made his mind up, especially with the other options being those two then move on. If he wants the easy life of picking up a pay packet in fractured clubs with no direction then he can suit himself.
  18. Thought they’d turned on most of their legends. Defoe ‘cause he fucked off mid season, Phillips ‘cause he stood next to the Shearer statue and Quinn ‘cause he said their fans prefer to watch games at the pub. Amad played 42 games for them and he’s in their all time 11. Also turned on Bent. Weirdly love Hendo even though he left at the first opportunity but he won loads of stuff which means they’ve also won loads of stuff.
  19. The king I see there. Fackin auld c**t
  20. We’ll see but their fans aren’t happy with a “Championship” manager. Bayern have to win the league, that’s what they demand, and I don’t think he’s capable of that. He hasn’t shown to be very adaptable. Could make or break his career though.
  21. Rightly so, he’s done nothing to deserve the Bayern job. Nothing whatsoever. Honestly it can’t be underestimated how bad a job he’s made of it at Burnley this year. But, they see something which hasn’t been evidenced with his results, man management, tactics and motivation or player trading.
