True, in that case I'd have loved it if we flogged Wood and bought Pedro then ?
-
I'd absolutely love it if FFP enabled us to get Pedro when we got Isak, both could seamlessly rotate and Pedro wouldn't mind being on the bench at first, can also cover the front 3...if only
-
Aye exactly, Barnes, Willock and Joelinton all out. Nothing you can do about that really
-
Agree with those saying we need 2 strikers and not 3, our problems seem down to - Both have been ridiculously injury prone this season Our 3rd choice happens to be our LW and player of the season so far We have no decent 18 year old to take out the Academy to give it a go
-
I'd rather have Saka over Foden imo Not sure how to rate Bellingham, this season he's played as good as any attacking midfielder could play, will he keep this insane rate up, or will it be seen more of a purple patch once they sign an Mbappe etc. Gonna be one of the GOATS if this is just the start and he only gets better
-
What type of restrictions, as in they want other people with power to have their hand in thing's alongside Ashworth, as in PIF want more of a say than Ashworth would like etc?

RITCHIE STAYING 10 MORE YEARS
-
Even Sunderland had a couple moments where they ran through and right at us, can't remember which player but the little / no.10 guy did a couple times
-
Hit the nail on the head, completely agree Thing is, if he stays, he has to be of use next season, we can't be buying another left back with him, burn and target on the books, and if he's here but still not used, then LB will once again be a weak point... Can't see the club letting this happen
-
Okay, in which case we get a slight FFP boost, not bad if he genuinely doesn't want to be here..but who knows for sure
-
Does the money we receive for him count towards FFP?? Or is it just player sales, not including non-player sales?
-
McDomination ~ Mcbomination
-
Sorry if already answered, but could the compensation they'd need to pay for him count towards FFP, or is it strictly players and not excecs that count? And presumably we could do 12 months of gardening leave like we did with Brighton so our short term plans aren't leaned to man u?
-
You've been told already, but this summer will be his last year of contract, why would anyone pay £60m for a Joelinton who has 1 year left?
-
Surely if we are after Billing as a cheap option, then surely we'd be expecting to lose 1 or 2 of our current mids? We have 7 centre mids when not injured / suspended You'd think this would be the Longstaff or Andersons of the world, or Joelinton if we don't get his contract sorted? Just can't see Billing being the answer to how we want to progress as a team, unless he is replacing someone we sell for a FPP boost
-
Sure it's false, but Imagine Chelsea spunking literally £350m on 3 centre mids ?
-
Arteta is a cnut, but seriously rate what he has done at Arsenal. Hes recruited perfectly for them, only one I'm not sure on is Havertz, but he seems to be slowly getting into his groove. They have a perfect mix of physicality and technical ability, thought they were clearly better than Liverpool the other week Makes that win over them even sweeter

Wonder what pope will be like after his surgery, there's a chance it could knock his confidence / performance. I've had 2 dislocations and the thought of jumping arm outstretched to then land on the floor would terrify me ?
-
Actually thinking about it we must do, otherwise why would we have bought that young lad from City ?
-
Maybe a stupid question, but when weve considered the likes of Hall, do we have access to data from the Chelsea academy / scouts who would have seen him play? Would we have scouts at most academies to keep tabs on young players etc? I find it hard to believe we'd commit £35m to someone based off the handful of games he played for Chelsea last season, but not seen anyone mention this kind of stuff. If he has been scouted extensively, then I'd be confident that he'd come good as we seem to have bought well so far
-
Just seen Van De Ven recently got the record for fastest sprint ever recorded in the PL Completely pointless to think, but imagine him in our team playing the LB / third centre back like Dan Burn does, one could dream
-
Pretty sure Bruno shouts at him to move over to close down the spare player for one of the goals but he stands there trying to block a shot when Bruno was also there
-
Same here, thought we were gonna start picking up form and momentum, gutted tbh
-
Aye he's absolutely rapid Really hope our next central defender is quick, having someone with recovery pace in the middle would help loads. Right now we only have Livramento who can cover ground quickly
-
Think this is part of the upside of us signing Kuol and Minteh, and the investment to the academy etc
