MOTD analysis would be better, won't stretch to saying it would be decent, if they had a pundit for each game who'd actually watched the game in full. Instead they've tried watching all the games at once - or watched one game then only the highlights of others - so just end up talking about the key moments and extrapolating that to the entire game rather than in the context of a moment within the game.

Mine are in our end so not sure how it works with different sponsors/partners. Place that's got them was able to buy 25 and could choose either end. Multiply that by the number of companies with that deal and others who get them handed out and its easy to see why it's 31-32k general allocations for a 90k stadium!

Ha - I'm up there tomorrow and the website and ticket email (although weirdly not the ticket itself) actually said/say "Safe Standing," so anyone who has bought can't plead ignorance. Might have to squeeze an extra pint in before leaving the pub so I'm fully prepared for that bullshit arising 😅

Obviously not the thread for a longer discussion about it and may have already been mentioned in the ref one, but there seems to be a trend now where the refs blow up for fouls but make a point of wanting to keep their cards in their pocket until around 60 - 70 minutes, after which they're dishing them out for everything. No doubt it's some daft "managing the game" directive from Webb but surely they must realise if they're letting fouls go unpunished other than the free kick they're going to lose control/the game looks like a farce? Possibly some mitigation where teams are clever and different people take turns fouling (see Bournemouth in Jan) but there's still nothing stopping a ref giving a card to stop that either.
