Djed Spence would be a very strange selection when there's already (supposedly) Tino and James who can cover that side if needed. If O'Reilly is his man at LB, use their ability to cover that side to take Trent. You wouldn't start him, and he can't defend to save his life, but if we need someone to find a killer pass that no-one else can see or stick a cross on Kane, Toney, Watkins or Bellingham's head in the last minute if we're getting beat, he's the man for the job.

I'd have probably taken Maguire but the last squad was the first time Tuchel called him up, and he wasn't exactly glowing in his praise of him afterwards, so it's not particularly surprising.
