  1. Is "official" date-related as it's 1st August or for another reason? I took Friday just gone and the first Northern League fixture as the start 😅
  2. Couldn't believe that went wide, as soon as he dipped to head it I gave it the "what a fucking goal that is" 🤦
  3. Personal thoughts are he can get to fuck. If he signs a bumper for a year to go next year then I'll tolerate him on a transactional basis for another 12 months. No issue with him going, I've long thought we'd lose at least 2 "purples" this summer even if we got Europe/CL, but it's not what you do, it's how you do it. But we all know in the ground there'll be a very vocal section who won't give a flying fuck when he's strolling about but will be frothing at the gob waiting to grief the lads who know what it means and would do anything for the club the minute they misplace a pass. Best case scenario: We sign Wissa and Sesko and make bank on Isak. 2nd best: He signs, gives us a year and 30 goals then fucks off. *Not allowing for him pledging undying loyalty and signing a 7 year contract with a £300m release clause. Then we can brush it under the carpet.
  4. 🚨 BREAKING! Fabrizio Romano to A&E. Here we go! Romano ONLY wanted a right good hiding. Not being a complete cunt was never an option. 👊🏻🏨🔜
  5. Think they're heavily invested in Boehly's company that owns Chelsea, aye
  6. Nothing they've publicised that I've seen, just a "Significant price rises from last season!" on Twitter on a post about the Liverpool pricing. Not had an email or anything from them either
  7. Man City also had a 20% sell on, so I assume we were agreed at c.£33m but yeah, nothing to stop us going higher still if we wanted to
  8. £50 for most games, £47 for the "lesser" games IIRC

    Fixtures 25/26

https://www.premierleague.com/en/news/4362015/fixture-amendments-for-premier-league-matches-in-september The PL doesn't know its arse from its elbow. Tottenham's fixture on the 28th might move if they're playing in the Champions League on the Tuesday, but ours against Arsenal on the same day won't? No warning that us and Tottenham games will move to Sunday if we play on Thursday in CL MD1; I know that's not a TV change but come on, absolutely hopeless, don't give a fuck about supporters, and all the rest of it. Announced these 2 weeks late and they're still liable to move all over the place. Shambles
  10. They're crying out for lads who can play CB to be fair

It's craic like this that reminds me it's time for my next forum donation - think last time it was Magdad's ticket rant before the cup final that prompted me

If you wannabe my Wissa You gotta get with my friends Isak stays forever Scouse tears never end
  14. This whole MGW business is so weird. Obviously all speculation but: Release clause but he's said he'd only leave for certain clubs anyway. The owner doesn't think Tottenham are that level. But so what? But he's going after MGW agent for supposedly disclosing the release clause. Does he hold a misplaced grudge against Tottenham because of the Johnson business that led to the points deduction or what? Strange guy

Can't wait for them to push finishing 19th instead of 20th as some sort of victory come the end of the season
  16. Aye, similar boat with sizing, large too tight, XL like a sack, felt long on me and I'm 6'2!
  17. @macphisto @Geordie Magpie About 10-15 at the back wall, didn't see the sizes, I've just returned an S, L and XL. Not sure if they had any others down the front
  18. Pink tops on sale in Metro Centre JD, about to gain another 3 from my returns
  19. Have you clicked on that one? If still no joy then I'll have to leave you in the capable hands of our amazing Box Office team
  20. Think Man City have relented on pricing aswell haven't they after the late arrivals etc towards the end of last season? On the flip side of that there's still talk of them switching on their facial recognition turnstiles next year, so swings and roundabouts
  21. Aye, Business Club members get first dibs on it all, they use that as a carrot to get you to join when they tell you there's no seasonal hospitality passes available, so naturally loads join then buy up Barracks game by game as it's the cheapest option by a distance.
  22. Try logging in and going direct to this page: https://book.newcastleunited.com/Ballots - you can also click ballots on the top
  23. The main problem for me is that as football supporters as a collective/community we do fuck all useful about it and don't help ourselves. Part of the problem being that we all know that if loads of us boycotted games for pricing reasons there'd be someone else willing to pay it, so FOMO to an extent overrides it, we pay anyway, and the club wins. My first sentence is why things like #StopExploitingLoyalty get on my nerves, probably unfairly as they're right in what they say. Aye the FSA and supporter groups can stand there with a banner and it looks good on socials but ultimately what happens after? They go into the stadium to watch the game with the ticket they've paid £X for, so it amounts to little more than virtue signalling. The clubs and TV companies know we'll keep going anyway which is why they continue to take the piss.
