  1. Based on a couple of Europa games I saw, I’d want us to get Ederson anyway. Be ruthless getting Willock moved on, and bring in him. Feels him/Bruno/Jo/Tonali would be a formidable 4 for rotational quality and what we need as a squad.
  2. Owe quite a bit, and the players they largely all moved on last summer was for knock off fees/loans with no fees because of some mental clauses in them. So they hardly bought in any money last summer, and will need to urgently this summer without the Prem money. Would say, Gray would be the one I'd prefer.
  3. He'll be on cheap side too if Leeds don't come up, as they will need to make sales. Another player I like if they were cheap and for the future, Omari Hutchinson. Got the skillset and physical ability, just needs the top end experience. If he was available for like a loan / option to buy (that's easily triggerable) I'd 100% want us to capitalise on Chelsea situation again.
  4. Rather Leeds go up. Southampton just a meh team, and a proper shit away day.
  5. I think id much rather go on a multiple year journey with Howe, even if its a slow progression, to get towards top end, then to change manager every 18 months to get the boost up there. The trophies and high would just feel a lot better, then it would with some guy who’s been there 12 months and likely sacked 6 months later.
  6. It’ll be interesting what the club behind closed doors feel about things next season. Not saying I want him here, but someone like Tuchel is quite possibly available early in next season, and if club makes a slow start, do they look at a named manager to get that gap closed? At some point next season, they’ll want to see club take a step forward and I hope it’s with Howe. We took a big step forward last season, then held our ground by remaining in the top group this season, but now, if after we spend say £100m+, we’ve got to take a step forward. 7th won’t be good enough.
  7. Precisely why I proper fucking hate Neville and co when they whine about Man Utd not being able to compete with Liverpool/Man City. They’ve spent a billion in past decade and still won more trophies bar the two mentioned. Entitled group of pricks who haven’t even come close to experiencing the lows yet. Go a decade at least without a trophy first before wanting sympathy.
  8. Going to Brondby and Slovan Bratislava in ECL = FUKCING DOG SHIT Going to Silkborg and Victoria Plzen in Europa League = AMAZING
  9. Man City and Arsenal away early on in the domestic cups next season, and suddenly people are losing their shit in mid Feb when we're 7th and got nothing fun to look forward to apart from can we get 5th/rely on others.

    Tosin Adarabioyo

Tosin is a back up CB that may become a starter, don’t get him, not going to lose sleep as we’ll still target one.
  11. We’ve been in one final since 99 and not won anything since like colour TV was invented. Turning nose up at ECL is mad. Want us in more competitions, because it’s a chance to win something. When there’s not a chance to win a trophy, what’s the point?
  12. How much is the projected miss on income for going deep in ECL and the home games on top? Like £15m?
  13. Ah well. No Europe, but we’re in a better place club wise than Man Utd going into next season.
  14. Man City need to get loads of these players off, and then in 2nd half actually have some shots ffs.
  15. Only if they were signed as a starter. DCL won't be. Any striker we get, won't be. Isak is undisputed number one, just need someone who can be 2nd option, happy with that, and reliable to contribute with some quality. I'd rather get some exotic, but if they're not getting solid minutes, they may not settle and it's deemed a bad deal.
  16. If we can get a fit DCL, who can play the back up option for next 4 years, it’s a great deal. Because over time, we’ll be adding goals around this team, where the striker links it up and doesn’t need to score loads when replacing Isak. Just a bit weary on the injury side, for someone who’s a physical player and getting into their latter years.
  17. Man Utd have been shit all season, offering up loads of chances. Hope today Man City are clinical, job done at HT and we can chat all 2nd half about ideal European away days and laugh at ETH.
  18. We paid £10m and he’s since fucked his shoulder again since then. £5m-£7m would be expected fee back for him. Basically net return.
  19. How many points would we lose for breaking PSR and by what amount? Like if it’s just one year, and £5m and say 4 points, surely it’s worth breaking to get a player who will be key for many years? Granted it may be what costs UCL, but I’d rather roll that dice and get a player in. Can’t be thrown out of cups for breaking PSR.
  20. Feels to me, quite a few players have been told the club will listen to offers, and the players know now is probably a good time to move on. Cash in on a new solid deal elsewhere whilst their stock is at a good level, instead of staying, don’t feature too much and stock falls. They’ve been on the journey for 2+ seasons, and know the club want to go next level. Most players aware of their surroundings and ability will be happy to leave on good terms.
  21. Could argue it increases it if they need a sale to buy. Likely want to keep Kudus, so he’s the next asset that’s at peak value.
