He’s already on fringes of Tuchel squad after being a regular; so he’s place is very much at risk.

Giving our off the field issues this summer, I really hope this is the fire that lights the players up first weeks of the season whilst signings come in / get up to speed. We need something for us to bite against and this can be it. Get the positive result Saturday and gear up all week ready to kick the shit out of Liverpool in a proper shithouse 22-23 vintage performance.

At this point, we have to tell Isak to fuck off. You’re in reserves till January if he doesn’t want to reintegrate, and we see if Liverpool come back in January. Or, here’s the Saudi offer for £160m that we will accept. You can get a handsome wage out there and still not play if that’s what you want to do for the next 6 months.

This is such a meh transfer, which adds to the other meh transfers. Couldn’t get him when PSR pressure was there, so pay more (like Thaiw).

Unless Trippier pushes for the move because it's like a 2 year deal, then there's no reason for us to sell with 12 months left. Need his leadership with UCL this season, and I'm not sure what the RB alternative would be that's within a realistic fee?

Osula issue is he has such a minimal amount of game time in adults football and he's 22. 2119 minutes over last 3 seasons is an absolute joke It's not going to get much better this season if he stays, so I'm not sure what the plan is. I assume if we had a striker in and Isak situation wasn't what it is, he'd be out on loan by now. But this late in window, clubs will have settled on their loan guys so it wouldn't end up being a good loan move, but he just needs to play minutes. Going to end up turning 23 at this rate and play equivalent length of 30 adult games

Love how quickly he looks to switch the ball when in possession. With the pace on our wings, that is huge.

The ultimate dream would be for us to get to League Cup final again, which means our game is postponed end of March and moved back into late April where the chances of us relegating them increases.

They have a favourable start to the season, so I really hpe they start slow. Their opening three games in context of survival is 9 points needed, with two of them (Burnley/Brentford) likely direct competition to stay up and West Ham at home which every side wanting to stay up has to look at 3 points. If by October Internationals they have say 4 points, they're fucked. Their final 8 league games are very hard. No relegation battlers at home, which when you could be fighting for survival, are the ones you want.

£22.5m clause is a no brainer. Sort of player we need to buy, low cost (for relative market), big potential. At worse they are a useful squad player long term.
-
Rodrygo been the linked name, but then they would be back to needing to slim down the squad. Marmoush / Doku for LW and Foden / Bobb for RW. With B.Silva able to play RW too (Cherki in a weird squad position) The CBs will be the ones they need to slim down next and a CM.

It does sound like Liverpool are ready to move elsewhere this week if there's no more wild shenanigans from Isak agent. Doesn't sound like a £150m bid will come (maybe £10m more at best). So his agent needs to pip the fuck down. Take the new contract (same wages) where it's with a release clause of £120m next summer (fee that was here this summer) where if it's not activated, his wage increases to £250k. Essentially he leaves next summer or he's committed long term.

I want a Yaya Toure style CM. Someone who can just travel with the ball, break the lines, and have the overal finnese to still pick out the passes at the end.

James McAtee needs a club still
