  1. Great delivery. Weak goalkeeping but take it.
  2. Really need a CM that can strike a ball when we replace Joelinton. Has so many good chances on edge of box but so bad at it. This is where we need to keep it calm and take Bournemouth on in last 30 when their energy levels are low. HUGE game for the subs bench this.
  3. Shocking start this. Not at the races at all and look off it energy wise. Need a lucky break and get into HT level.
  4. On another forum, someone rattled off 7 players who can all be playing in Premier League. Think the fans have forgot the impact Jack Clarke has made, who this time last season they were raving about as a £40m talent. Want them to come up just so they get smacked and a reality check. But then I don’t want them to come up and get the prem money
  5. DCL also has a future transfer fee. 4 year deal, does well as a back up for 2 seasons, a newly promoted club would be delighted to have him for a low fee (£10m+). There’s many pros to the deal and if club are still keen, I’d assume they’re fully confident he’s a good guy who will be great for the dressing room.
  6. Gordon record was awful at Everton. Everton are literally a dog shit, defensive side where it must be pure aids to train and play for over past 4 seasons. He’s shown in the past a good skill set, and as a back up option for no fee, it’s simple business. Isak has made the striker position his own, so anyone wanting the spot we won’t get, so it needs to be a guy that’s happy for rotation and DCL at this stage in career, which may well come with UCL football would likely take that.
  7. They've probably legit forgot Esteavo is joining in summer.
  8. Got me going down an early morning hypothetical hole that now. Get both, Murphy insane form entices a newly promoted / bottom half side to spend £25m on him, we get KWP on a free for full back depth, roll dice on the CM collection for another season and sign a low cost CB that’s got potential. An elite attack can balance out a 7/10 defence. Don’t need all areas of team to be same elite level.
  9. Ideal world we get both and that’s the attack sorted with Isak / Osula / Barnes / Gordon for next 3 seasons
  10. I’d prefer Dibling over Mbeumo, really do feel Dibling is going to be proper top tier. Way he glides past people, take ball on half turn in tight spaces, making the right decisions at his young age. Such an elite talent. Mbeumo brings goals, but with Dibling, I would be confident of goals increasing from midfield because of his ability to create chances from outwide.
  11. Considering we have possibly a cup final coming up if goes well, a chance for another cup in the FA Cup and a genuine chance for UCL, it will be a big gamble to end window without signing a RW. Be alright if Barnes was consistently fit, but if he’s picking up knocks and there’s valid questions about Willock fitness too, it is a gamble. I’m assuming the call comes down to Howe though, if he feels Osula is ready to step up for more minutes 2nd half of season the club will feel it’s a gamble worth taking. Because Isak can be rested more, Joelinton the emergency RW and Miley / Longstaff the back up CMs.
  12. Any formation that has 2 CMs and one of them isn’t a Kante type, it won’t work consistently in Prem. Teams have too much energy and movement in the middle, so will take advantage. Bet Amorim can’t believe how competent a bottom side is in this league compared to Portugal.
  13. Dibling been pure class. I really want him.
  14. Just sack Amorim. He’s bringing nothing and you don’t want to back into signings for this formation.
  15. Contract ends 2026, with club option of one more year. They've been through this before with Toney where they lost money IMO, but still rescued a good amount thanks to Saudi. So I think £50m seems fair value, don't get it, there will be a lot of noise about him for next season, price dropping and either sell in 2026 or lose for nothing. Probably in their best interest to sell him at his peak.
  16. And with Western society driven for commercial, speaking good English is a big bonus/help for commercial value.
  17. The most enjoyable aspect I still enjoy in his game is his ability to control ball on half turns and playing top passes. Like it can’t be understated how having a striker that does that, immediately elevates the attackers around them because of the runs they can make and passes. Then cherry on top, he’s adding bagful of goals. You see Haaland at Man City who looks so gangly and uncoordinated in how he drops off to receive ball, and Isak is levels above. Also, love how quick his feet are. Gets ball on touchine occasionally and his quick feet play sometimes gets past a defender or wins a throw, which he has no right too considering position he received the ball in.
  18. Burn and Hall also got a great understanding right now, which you don’t break it up mid season unless it’s an enforced change.
  19. Sibierski

    Dan Burn

It’s helped that the side are pressing more, Tonali in the centre and CBs can squeeze onto the attackers more. Helps hide the serious lack of pace. There were occasions he was turned easily and left behind because of the pace, but didn’t lead to anything. For how Howe wants his CBs to be, he’s getting the most out of Burn. Why I would love us to try and sign Murillo, front footed aggressive CB.
  20. Smart business Fuck off these journos who proper tongue Chelsea to get news.
  21. Nice ending for him. Back where he’s loved, area he likes and hopefully playing at the World Cup there in 18 months time. It’s clear with his minutes he’s not needed and unless Murphy gets injured or a proper opportunistic buy becomes available, don’t think we sign a RW. Would like to think a RW on loan with option we’d consider. Gives Howe time to assess training and if it’s worthwhile making permanent. Free hit a deal like that since Murphy has rightly made RW his own presently.
