Getting outfought by a manager fking off at the end of the season.

Crazy that villa are now 20th in the 5 year UEFA club Coefficient above Manchester United. If they keep on going they way they are going with Emery they will soon be a in Pot 1 in ucl with the likes of Bayern and Real Madrid which is just insane. While we are still way down in 72nd because we cant consistently get into Europe. Just shows the importance of these lower European competitions we aren't going to get far being in and out of UCL and when we are in the UCL not really do much of note. Getting out of the league phase a was step in the the right direction though I guess.

This is my concern like. People ignoring him saying that he is leading another transfer window. This time with no European football to offer.

I just can't see him going for 80m unless he has a good WC. I think teams will rather shop and find other alternatives. I can't think of any team that needs him.

I don't think or expect us to win the league next season. I don't mean it in a way of "Howe you must win the league or you must the sacked". I want him to stay for one ore season get us UCL football like he has previously done and then part ways once the season is done. Obviously the "parting ways" part wouldn't be happening if we did something completely extraordinary like winning the league.

Of course what I'm saying isn't going to happen because too many fans and people at the top think like you. Howe is the best manager available for any teams outside of Europe. Our best 2 season were outside of Europe. Next season we are going to be outside of Europe again. I can't see any manager coming into the club next season doing better than Howe will do for that season when you consider that the team knows the style, we will be able to play with more intensity etc. If he gets UCL like he did the previous 2 times with no European football, then I personally think we need to part ways on a high. Instead of giving him another UCL season the fk up again.

Howe is the best manager for the position we will be in next season. With no football. 8+ teams in the league on Europe. Expectations lower. Just look what it's done to Manchester United this season. However after next season unless he wins the league then he needs to be sacked. Jose would be good choice anyone with proven European experience it's the biggest difference between Howe and the Pep, Emery and Arteta. You can see with the way they play and how they change in tactics at certian matches they really know what they are doing.

With spurs getting relegated I can't see any club being stupid enough to buy him for a price we would want. Hes too old for chelsea.

The best season we have had under Howe have been out of Europe. Yo-yoing in and out of the UCL has meant our Coefficient ranking is 73rd which is why we keep getting millions less than other teams in the ucl even if we perform better than them. Villa are 22nd and could very well pass Man Uniteds Coefficient depending on how well they do in europa. Also bloody West Ham have a coffecient way above ours. If we want to build our profile we need to be much much better in Europe and be participating every season in a European competition. If Howe isn't able to do it then he may need to go.

Wait the Italy game is tonight? Which he is playiing? Fuck him, he misses out on an important game which also pretty much ended out european chances. Is now wanting to leave due to not getting europe which is partly his fault as he's been crap. The sooner he is gone the better, get it agreed before the window and done the day the window opens.

With these stats and the fact we are 11th with so many teams fighting for the same spots, I can't believe there are even people claiming we could make a push for UCL (most mot being our own fanbase). 54 points seems about right for what we can expect. which all the top 4 are currently on

The people I find most frustrating are the ones saying “give him another season.” The reality is, we likely won’t even be in Europe next season so the same issues probably won’t come up anyway. But we can’t afford to keep bouncing in and out of European competitions like this. It’s not sustainable financially or competitively. Howe has clearly struggled when it comes to balancing UCL football, and that’s something we can’t ignore. So what’s the plan? Keep him for another season, then sack him whether he gets UCL or not?

At the end of the day the prem teams play too many matches and have too many financial restrictions making it impossible to compete of multiple fronts in such a tough league so this ends up being the result. Teams completley drained and tired by March.
