  1. He mightn't have wanted to join at all without it?
  2. Spurs definitely underrated on here, I feel. Consistent top 4-6 club for 15 years or so, couple of recent dodgy league campaigns but still had a top 5 finish in there, and now that Europa League. Impressive stadium, money, London, good new manager, Champions League football...they'll be a threat again next year.
  3. Ekitike He turned us down for PSG. Ekitike Became a star in Germany Ekitike Scores goals at the Gallowgate End Ekitike, Ekitike
  4. Anthony Elanga Anthony Elanga Listens to ABBA Mates with Osula Hates fucking Sunderland
  5. Can't wait until it's a Man City/Liverpool/Man Utd rip-off that he gets.
  6. Re-rewind, When the crowd says run, Elanga.
  7. Christ, RMC. There's a blast from the Graeme Carr past when it came to a good source. No idea what they're like now.
  8. If we signed someone of Ekitike's 2022 profile now, he finds himself in the position Ekitike was when he joined PSG (limited games, etc) and has to leave to get first-team football anyway? So we don't really see the benefit. No doubt just being around the likes of Messi, Mbappe & Neymar would have rubbed off on him, but he probably doesn't flourish the same way he has if he's only getting 15-20 games a season.
  9. Assuming the likes of Chelsea, Real & PSG will just not bother with pre-season training? You'd think just giving the players 2-3 weeks of absolute rest and bringing them back a week before the first League game will be the logical thing? They'll still be match fit, probably just going to need 1-2 matches a week beforehand.
  10. It still looks like they're going to be starting the season with O'Nien as a starter and captain. They might edge towards 30 rather than 20 points.
  11. "How good will it be to play alongside your close friends Isak & Osula?"
  12. Ekitike would seem like such a logical alternative to Pedro if that's the type of player we want.
  13. Bit of a shitter for say Forest, if them having more money coming in next season meant they could have held out for more for Elanga for instance. Oh well. Diddums.
  14. Does this mean Brighton qualify for the Conference and Forest up to the Europa League?
  15. Yeah, that'd easily be worth a shot. Would take him for that price. Get the feeling it'd soon be £35-40m for us, though if we showed interest.
  16. Gateshead 4-0 in the end but it wouldn't be a mega surprise if these two were in the same division next year.
  17. I think you draw a line under last season and go with what's perceived as your best XI. So that means Gordon for Barnes, Elanga for Murphy, Botman for Burn, and you go from there. The top 4 are all strengthening with their transfers, so if we can score a couple of quick upgrades from within, we should go for it.
  18. With a year left? If it's that much then big nope.
  19. Wissa for under £30m would be a no-brainer.
  20. Turned the Mackems down? They were loving him a week ago because he saved a pen against us in the Carabao pen shoot-out.
  21. Thought we could do with a left-footed winger originally, but I like the balance of having Gordon & Barnes on the left cutting inside, and Elanga & Murphy on the other side being able to get to the byline.
  22. Heading down to Hebburn v Gateshead tonight.
  23. Must mean we're going to sign a midfielder then?
  24. Feels like for all their gambles, they could have had Walker & Longstaff for £15m combined and they'd instantly be their best two players.
  25. 14 when Isak takes the 9.
