Remember when people would pillar his transfer business? Murphy & Schar combined £15m.

Is there a worry if that happens though, they just go through the motions as season is over? At least with Europe there's players playing for Cup Final spots and they still have a focus?

Really impressed with Bellamy's punditry tonight.

As others have mentioned. He won the FA Cup, finished 5th twice and finished 8th the season before they went down. The team they went down with should never have went down when you look at the teams above them (Barnes, Maddison, Tielemans, Vardy...), they made a calamity of a decision by not replacing Schmeichel properly in goal and it's set them back years.
-
I guess the other danger to mid-clubs suddenly yo-yo'ing, is that they miss that and end up getting marooned like Swansea, Stoke, WBA, Blackburn, Sunderland, etc have. They need to probably keeping bouncing between the two leagues a bit and hope one appointment nails it, or they scrape 17th one year and get back out of the cycle. Seems to be getting more and more difficult if you go down, to re-establish yourself.

He seemed to only ever start when both Isak or St-Maximin were out. He didn't unsettle the right beyond Murphy/Almiron but I'm guessing if they were out he'd have played there too. Was more a bedding in period his first half season.

I'm basing it on Forest only getting 0-2 points from Everton & Spurs. If they win one, they'll be fine. Don't win either, that gap is likely under 3 points down to 6th.
-
He'd also played the majority of his games for Everton at RW.

15/16 : West Ham will feel the pressure 19/20 : Leicester will feel the pressure 20/21 : Leicester will feel the pressure

We'd be nowhere near top 5 this season if it wasn't for Barnes nicking us wins here and there during the first month or two when we weren't playing well. Games like Spurs at home, Wolves & Forest away.
-
Everton at home is an awkward one at the minute, then Spurs away. They're bad but they could beat anyone 4-0 on their day and it wouldn't be a surprise.
-
They've got the two most expensive squads and two squads who know how to finish top 4 chasing them. They should be okay but another loss in their next 2 and they might start having doubts.
-
Can't blame Pep for that. Also for every possession based team, there's now a Newcastle, Villa, Bournemouth who are in your face.
-
That's 2 clubs and 1 man? Why should that affect football overall?
-
Why Pep?

Think I'd fancy us more with Barnes & Gordon alternating between LW & CF.
-
They were good when City would rock up with Shaun Goater and beat them, or Wright-Phillips destroying them before he went to Chelsea. But aye.
-
I feel sorry for Leicester. Title win, FA Cup win, dared to upset the big 6 for a few years. One bad season and it derailed them. Could happen to any of the likes of Brighton, Brentford, Bournemouth through little fault of their own. One season where their model has a few duds and it's all gone.
-
Fuck it, let's go for 3rd. If someone had told us in August we'd have won a cup and have two games in hand to go within a point of 3rd, we'd have snapped their hands off.

Two of Gateshead's deadline day signings scoring and ending their stinking run. Hopefully they give them a second wind.

Ton Cleverley became the longest serving Watford manager since Javi Gracia last month (a year in charge). They've had 10 permanent managers in between.
