I think the fact we have an upper mid-table team who could make the Semis shows a lot.

Ideally he'd he'd 5-6th choice? 15-20 games max you'd expect, mainly in cups and lesser teams. Swap loan for Ndidi or something.

I think it'd be a class move. Not as much pressure, at the very least Europa League, more than likely Champions League football where he'll start every week. It's not uncommon for clubs to go from NL to League 1 pretty quickly too. Seems dated to have only 2 clubs being able to go up.

Who was the last young player we loaned to a PL club out of interest. Milner? Leeds would be a good move if they could guarantee him 20-25 starts or something. Again, I'd only loan him out if we could get a short term CM back up for a season.

I've always said I like the idea of keeping young players around rather than loans so they can train with the squad, feel involved, learn from Eddie, etc. with Miley though he's already had a run of senior games, played at the highest level. Just feel a season of regular football would be his natural next step.
