I thought the other day there's maybe scenarios where one could play as a 10 maybe? Not a traditional 10 I guess, but could see Gordon's pressing alongside Isak and maybe doing some of his defensive work being a decent weapon.

Newcastle in general. Second goal, the Longstaffs, Carroll & Allan in the build up.
-
Brilliant win for Gateshead away at Forest Green the other night. Hopefully going into the Play-Offs with some form after that massive dip.
-
Does his second goal yesterday not fall under that category?

Shame Guehi's back. City picked their defence apart at will. 2-0 win. -
Really not a fan of the blacked out club badge on the white jackets.

I thought this when he signed. His link up, and knowing when to play the ball to Vardy was a big factor in their play and relative success. He's so much more than just a finisher.

They're dreading becoming fodder to the likes of Fulham, Bournemouth & Brentford next season going by RTG. They have this chip on their shoulder that because they have more supporters and were successful before World War I that they have this right to be bigger and better than those clubs. They don't.

Having him available again is what gives me confidence we'll see it through to CL qualification. Just means we're strong on the wings for the full game again.
-
He must fucking hate St James'. 8-2 aggregate in two games here..
-
I know there were a lot of injuries and games last season, but I reckon we'd have finished top 4 again last season even with just him not suspended last year. That 1/3 of a season where Bruno was almost single-handedly running the midfield, I reckon we'd have nicked extra points from the likes of Bournemouth, Luton & Everton in particular home & away. (3 points from a possible 18 there, we were only 8 points off 4th).
-
Sergei Rebrov probably deserves to be up there. £11-12m was a helluva lot then and he flopped.
-
I wish there was a system that we could involve both him & Gordon but it'd probably be Joelinton that you take out which takes a lot from there. The block of games we've lost at home type games to the likes of Brighton, Fulham, West Ham where we struggled to break them down, maybe?
-
Aye, think it lasted a few weeks before they dropped it.
-
13 goals & 6 assists in 1962 minutes in the league since he arrived. That's around 2/3s of a season he's been involved with over just less than 2 seasons. His output compares with anyone in his position.
-
They'll just get to spend another £150-200m in the summer and it'll eventually stick one year.
-
Two words. Tactics Truck.

To think we were worried about the left-side after the Hall injury and Barnes suspension. If anything Tino & Barnes have managed to take it up to an even higher level ever since. Brilliant partnership.

https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/how-much-it-will-cost-tom-wagner-knighthead-to-build-new-birmingham-city-stadium/ 1.5 mile tunnel from the train station to new stadium, total costs expected to be between £2-3bn. Good on them!

Just read that Birmingham are building a new 62k plus stadium.
