The day was always going to come when one of our purples was going to leave. Players for 30-50 million is the pond we have to fish in due to our finances. With that you can either get a solid/slightly underwhelming PL player or take a punt at someone from the continent. A punt from the continent is ripe for poaching by the cartel, they can afford to have a 40m flop on their books bouncing from loan to loan for 5 seasons, they're less likely to hijack a move for someone like Wissa
