Mowen
Doesn't concern me as much as similar news would have last year. I'd like him to stay fit, obviously, but I'm not too worried about Faye or Taylor filling in.

ohmelads
It was always a concern when he signed that he would be in and out of the team. He's played about as many games as Dyer or Woodgate over the last few years. I suspect this largely explains why we were able to get such a good defender for nothing. Dr. TC
Can you get an injury to a hernia btw? Is the hernia bruised or something? Depends on the kind of hernia. If it's a 'sports hernia' then it's not really a hernia at all, just an irritation of the peritoneum often experienced by footballers. This just gives pain really, and people play through it until it gets too bad. If it's a true hernia it's most likely to be an inguinal hernia. In this case, it needs sorting as the herniated bowel will just increase in volume with strain, and may become incarcirated.

jep
"taking the piss n. This is the most common term we have in British English to describe making fun of someone, e.g. "Andy fell down the stairs on the way into the pub last night, and everyone spent the entire night taking the piss out of him". Contrary to what one might assume, it doesn't involve a complex system of tubes or a bicycle pump." Carry on the whoosh!

This is the inguinal hernia I mentioned, but it only gets that bad if it's left untreated for a long while.
Skirge
I like him and think he come to show his class as he gets more used to the Prem style pf play, but we do have Taylor so its not a major blow to us..
Guest teepee
i agree with skirge - good player, seems very calm, but taylor is very capable of filling in

Cajun
Has done very very well since he came in but as others have said we are in a position (and people were questioning if we really had moved forward) where we have 2 players who can step in and more than do a job in his place. Never know he could have a real fight to get his place back, always been impressed with Faye whenever I saw him playing centre back for Bolton and he offers more of a physical presence which we missed vs Derby.
