Who Will Keegan Go For?

in terms of signings? and how much money will he be given?

been a long time since the glory days with us and football has changed quite a bit. who are today's equivalents to Shearer, Beardsley, Cole, Ginola, Gillespie, Lee, Albert, Ferdinand? Van Nistelrooy, Rooney, Agbonlahor, Ronaldo, Lennon, Barry, Rio Ferdinand, Drogba?

those kinds of players will cost far more than they did back in the early to mid 90s and i don't think Keegan would've took the job if he thought he wasn't going to be backed in the transfer market. the fact he's not been to a game in two and a half years might impact his search for new talent, but then again didn't Sven go out and buy a raft of top class players having only seen them on television?

speculate away...

This is a concern, I really don't know how much Keegan is in the loop with the modern game. KK has disappeared completely off the radar for the past 3 years, it was like he had gone into his own little world.

Well we've got a scouting network and they would of never stopped working, Keegan will assess the squad, work out what he wants and ask the scouts if they have anyone in mind.. I guess?

Wondering if he'll come try and come back for any of his old City players.

Staggeringly apart from kids there are only 3 still here from when he left. Dunne, Sun, and Mills. First one owes his career to KK but is not for sale.  :knuppel2:

Other two are shite but if you want a stop gap...

Fourthly, Daniel van Buyten, played for KK's City for six games or so on loan in 2004, is available.....  :parky:

Has Mills not signed for Derby?

He's only on loan. He'll be coming back home to his rediculous contract in the summer no doubt.

It's been reported Dunne turned down a new contract and is in our sights... at least that's what planet football says... :undecided:

I think the defence would be alright with a holding MF and a regular back 4 (beye-taylor-feye-enrique).

We need flair!

Remember when keegan came back last time he'd been out for years and paying no attention to the game, did ok at finding players then...
