Who Will Keegan Go For?

I'll be curious to know if our our new 'scouting network' will be able to make any suggestions. This is the strangest thing about this appointment. We really some players and then we hire a guy who's been out if the game for a while now. I'd be surprised (pleasantly) if he has enough time to run the rule over anyone properly.

He said he didn't watch live football, he watches recordings, and replays. So maybe he does know what is going on in world football.

If he hasn't been watching any football at all i don't know how he'll be able judge who to sign.

I honestly think we'll be disappointed in this transfer window. He'll spend a few months scouting around and then spend big in summer.

Perhaps a couple of loan signings, but there won't be anyone like Berbs coming here. (as if he would anyway :D)

Wondering if he'll come try and come back for any of his old City players.

Staggeringly apart from kids there are only 3 still here from when he left. Dunne, Sun, and Mills. First one owes his career to KK but is not for sale.  :knuppel2:

Other two are s**** but if you want a stop gap...

Fourthly, Daniel van Buyten, played for KK's City for six games or so on loan in 2004, is available.....  :parky:

Big Joe surely?

Daniel Van Buyten would be a nice start.

Good shout, signed him for City on loan and hopefully could be a player he'd look at for us.

I know he was a big boozer at Everton and got himself into bother

Royle signed him for City and gave him the games he wasn't getting here which I think was a big part in him developing.

Could have easily ended up pissing his career away if Royle hadn't come in with a decent offer, no doubt because he knew about his potential from his time managing us shortly before City. I'm not sure other managers would have gone for him.
