Portsmouth ?

Thats a guess, by the way - but it smacks of the kind of thing Redknapp would do.

And, possibly to replace (a north east bound) Campbell?

Man City and Villa have the money and are a step up, that's the only reason.

Maybe West Ham? They love crocks their

West Ham would be funny.

SSN reported it as just happening, as though a club has just jumped on the Woodgate bandwagon, highest wage offer will get him, no matter who the club he will opt for the money I reckon..

If it was about cup finals and Europe then he would not have even botherd speaking to us..

Guest More Tea Vicar?

However, sources close to Woodgate say he would love the chance to play again for Keegan – the man who handed him the first of his six England caps against Bulgaria in 1999.

The Chronicle revealed United's interest in their former central defender on Wednesday, but yesterday it looked as though he was on his way to Spurs.

But the fact that Woodgate is prepared to turn his back on the bright lights of London, and the chance to play for a Spurs side which is on the way up, is testimony to the pulling power of Keegan.

Nice one, Alan. Nice one.
