Guest Saint Andy
We have some lovely passing football to watch that we wouldn't have seen under SA. That string of passes around the villa box where we held onto possession, was great to watch. I think we'll see a lot more of this sort of football in future. Guest toonlass
We don't need to play Arsenal anymore. Carr must surely be dropped after the villa game. Harper getting a run. We have nearly 2 weeks before we have to suffer another match.

Coxaux
Owen is a goal machine and will storm to the golden boot. Keegan is a genius and we will start climbing the table, taking a European spot by the end of the season. Ashley is a millionaire and we will attract the best, launching a title challenge next season.

Guest mr quimbys beard
If we can score 5 or 6 goals before half time we should win a game, oh and Mackems are still behind us.

NE5
Love how few there are. Seriously though, despite the final results, we're playing better and better in general play. that is true and its the way to play
Theregulars
Ummmmmmmmm....... Owen remembers where the goal is Better football than under Fat Sam (still not leading to much of a goal threat, it must be said) All the Africans have returned Smith isn't too far away from his next suspension Keegan seems to rate Emre slightly
Guest RodrigoPalacio
EIEIEIO Up the Premier League we go, erm, sometime soon, hopefully. Don't care where we finish, as long as it's not in the bottom three.
Happy Face
Owen hasn't been injured in a while Very good point. Has he played as many consecutive games for us before? What is it now? 10? And Ramage will be fit soon.
Guest to4sb
The points tally will increase by a whopping 2 after the next 4 games below. No need to be a rocket scientist to guess where they'll be gained. <snippedy snip snip - NO FIXTURES!>

Geordie Boot Boy
We have a manager who we know has our best interests at heart and who we can believe in. We also have a manager who has the potential to realize our football dreams for the first time since SBR left the club. The potential may not bear fruit but it's more exciting than not having it at all.
Guest Knightrider
For me the biggest positive come the end of the season (if we stay up) is that Ashley and KK will be under no illusion as to what's needed to return this club back to a level where we all want to be at. £££££££££s. afar
Got to say it's difficult to come up with something right now, but the first half against Villa was encouraging. We passed the ball well, didn't give them time to settle on the ball and had genuine width with full backs over lapping. If we could stustain that type of performance over the 90 against some of the lesser lights in the prem, then we'll stay up. If we don't we almost certainly be playing in the fizzy pop league next year.
Guest Stephen927
2 week break before Man United Carr, Butt and Smith hopefully dropped for Enrique, Emre and Viduka. Owen stringing together games and scoring Africans back Harper getting a chance The summer (if we get there, I don't think we'll get relegated for the record).
