No one will touch Given with a bargepole when he's in this state. And also, i'd rather be realistic and rational, and hope that one of the finest goalkeepers ever to wear our jersey makes the first physical turnaround of his Newcastle career that he's ever had to do. That's just me though. That's a wind-up surely. Given was a fucking fantastic goalkeeper, only a couple of years ago really, he was really becoming a brilliant goalie before that stupid injury. Foster has done nowt. Second of all, he is still unproven. He's less proven than both Harper and Given, hwho are both arguably better goalkeepers anyway. Thirdly, in regards to the Man Utd thing... doesn't that just render the whole thing totally and utterly pointless? If we're going to replace Given, let's replace him with someone who we're not going to have to give back in a years time. Man Utd won't let him go, no chance.
