Realistic Summer Targets

The reason why people are saying he isn't that "great" is because he played for Barcelona, a team where Ronaldhino doesn't get a game, Henry is considered useless, Etoo get's booed every now and again.

My point is it would be very hard to impress against such competition, he is a good striker, has good strength and is quite pacy although his gait doesn't suggest this.

For 4 million they have got a bargain TBH!

P.S. Normally plays behind the main striker with three up front, you could say he was on the right of the front three but him and Messi change over so much it is hard totell

Oh right, just heard a lot of spurs fans talking about him replacing Lennon.

They do only have 3 strikers at the moment don't they?

he does can on right... but he is no winger... more like messi position (AMRC)... dos santos automatically sinked after the rising of bojan. spuds already had 3 strikers bent, keane, berbatov. dos santos obviously will not go to spurs if he is being told to be 4th choice striker.

right now i am thinking spuds will go 4-3-3 next season (maybe because they learn how we beat them last term at their ground )

I was talking about the media and the way they twist every little comment, especially when they are the ones asking these questions.

s***...Spurs is going to be strong. Why are we lagging behind the transfers while Spurs snapped another gem in Dos Santos for a relatively cheap fee? Disappointed with our club which is apparently still in holiday while Spurs work overtime to snap up players making the most of clubs apparently still on holiday. s*** s*** s*** we could have Dos Santos.

But I thought we were such a poor team that Dos Santos would much rather have gone to Spurs anyway, even if we had been interested.

But seriously, talented though the kid is, he is very lightweight. Given that Barca, evidently, think he's unsuited to la Liga, he is by no means a guaranteed hit in the Premier league...

ya whats the point.

Meanwhile, Wright-Phillips' father, former Arsenal and England star Ian Wright, has spoken of his disappointment at how Shaun's move to Chelsea has turned out. Speaking to the Daily Mirror, Wright said: "They made a lot of promises that just didn't materialise. He was left out of a couple of games because his confidence went. Then he came in and didn't do well. Then he started to do well and then got left out again."

He added: "No one could have envisaged how it has gone for Shaun at Chelsea, because if we could have done, he wouldn't have gone there. It's as simple as that. When it started it had all the hallmarks of a player building a great career at Chelsea, but it hasn't worked out."

Probably sitting on a sofa handcrafted entirely from solified bank notes, courtesy of a SWP, when he made those statements.

Everyone with a bit of common sense knew at the time that Chelsea were buying him just to stop Arsenal from getting what was, at the time, the most explosive winger in the Premiership.
