Owen reveals Toon troubles

Course, if Shearer had said EXACTLY the same thing it'll be "yeah, that's right son, kick their arses".

Just hate the double standards, that's all.

For what it's worth, with Shearer, you probably would have been able to look back on the last few matches and remember his contributions or attempts to bring the team back into the game.

2 goals in his last 3 games in the least productive team he's ever played in is quite good actually.

Toon are 66% worse off under Keegan

KEVIN KEEGAN has made Newcastle 66 per cent weaker — and that’s official.

The hapless Toon boss has seen the club’s points-per-game average plunge by that staggering amount since taking over in January.

And ahead of today’s Blackburn clash, skipper Michael Owen admitted: “Confidence isn’t at its best. There is nervousness.”

A SunSport survey reveals their average points return has slumped from 1.18 to just 0.40 per game since winless Keegan succeeded Sam Allardyce.

That’s easily the worst of the eight Premier League bosses appointed since the start of the season.

Spurs’ Juande Ramos has had the most positive impact with an amazing 161 per cent improvement.

Owen, who had to wear the players’ ‘I had a Sh****!’ novelty T-shirt for being the worst trainer this week, said: “We need a win and the sooner the better.

“As soon as we get that confidence will come flooding back.

“We’ve got an awful lot of games left and we aren’t in the relegation zone.

“We’re not at panic stations but are well aware we need to get a result — and fast.”

OWEN ADMITS:  I hate Geordies, I spend my wages on kiddie porn.  Heil Hitler.

What a fucking pathetic post.

No surprise to hear Owen whingeing...considering he's been wearing the yellow jumper again this week. Such a precious little Lord Fauntleroy, he really is. :nope:

Where is he whinging? He's just stating the obvious to be honest.

Well aye, fair point..maybe whingeing is too strong a term, so I'll rephrase it: maybe there's a clear connection between Owen being down in the dumps, him wearing the yellow jersey, him being the club captain and our biggest star, and the generally piss poor morale and performance of the whole squad in recent weeks.

Although I am, of course, merely indulging in conjecture.

Or maybe your over analyzing & the whole morale/confidence thing does not stem from Owen BUT results. I know that may sound wacky but I am putting it out there.

"There is nervousness throughout the side."

You included you f****** midget.

You don't f****** say.

Another pointless anti-Owen post. Nice one.

Sorry did you think Owen was the epitome of calm in front of goal today? :nope:

But he wasn't criticising the other players saying "All those dickheads are nervous and i'm not".  Of course he is probably too

What idiots we have in this city

Doubt it, there's been no fighting.

Speaking of Barton & fighting (in the wrong thread I know) when it all kicked off with Beye by the dugout, did you see Enrique start racing over to get involved like a lunatic & Barton holding him back and pushing him away from it

Barton was just trying to get to the trouble first.
