NJS
Other results didn't go our way so the importance of this result can not be understated. I think they did tbh. Bolton have a game in hand so we at the moment should be looking at them and Brum, and Brum lost today to give up a 5 point gap between them. Good times. Bolton's game in hand was the manc cunt defeat.
garth
Harper 6 Beye 6 Taylor 6 Faye 7 Enrique 7 Geremi 8 Butt 7 Barton 7 Owen 7 Martins 6 Viduka 7 Did you see the game? Yes How can you give Geremi 8 and Beye 6? should be the other way around.
Dave
The best bit is that a 2-0 win is fairly comfortable, and though they had their moments, it really sounds like 3-0 or 4-0 would not have been surprising. We had so many chances cleared off the line/by a last-gasp tackle/by outstanding saves.

WhatTheFunk
who was motm Bullard. Not a fucking chance in hell!! He played well, but I thought both Butt and Barton were better, and Geremi was involved in both goals on top of that as well. Overall I would say Owen was man of the match. Led by example and had a brilliant game dropping deep and spraying the ball about. Looks fitter and sharper, and still scoring.

Geremi slowed the rhythm down to much, he put in couple of good passes but thats about it.
Dr. TC
up to 13th. Crazy. MOTM Owen? He was pretty crap apart from the goal. Squandoured so many chances, would have had 3 or 4 if he were match fit

James
Harper 6 Beye 6 Taylor 6 Faye 7 Enrique 7 Geremi 8 Butt 7 Barton 7 Owen 7 Martins 6 Viduka 7 Did you see the game? Yes How can you give Geremi 8 and Beye 6? should be the other way around. Corners aside, Geremi played an intelligent game and played quite a few good and important passes that led to goals/chances. Beye's slightly suspect positioning got a bit exposed with just the 3 midfielders instead of four. Not a bad game though.

I felt Beye was very solid defensively and his passing was decent, didn't make any defense-splitting through balls but kept the ball well within the team. They didn't create anything out on the left-wing either, felt that most of their dangerous crosses came from the right so I dunno how Beye can be given a lower rating than Enrique. Ashley17
Other than the mackems winning it's been a very good day, it's likely they'll be above us this time next weekend. But let's ignore that fact and enjoy our win
Yorkie
At Spurs next isn't it? A draw would be quality, and certainly more than possibly given the 'run' we're on. Howay the fucking lads. How mint does this feel? Honestly. Brilliant.
Dave
Can I just point out that I didn't see the game, but Keegan is a world class manager, Viduka is utter quality, and we are a team that can challenge for the Champions League. Just for NM. Thanks.

Guest Shibby
This is so funny. I've never seen us so happy from 3 points! Now I have a sense of how the bottom teams fighting relegation feel like. WOOHOOO!!!! 3 PTS!!!!

James
I thought the most pleasing part of the game was the intelligent movement of some of our players, in particular Enrique seeming to adopt the right positions on and off the ball with Barton in front often cutting inside, Butt dropping deep at all times, Owen and Viduka coming deep to collect the ball from midfield. The formation wouldn't have worked otherwise.
