NG32
Real have agreed to sign Villa, according to Marca. They still wont get near Barcelona next season. Awesome strike force tho. But your right, I love Xavi and Iniesta, they are the main difference.

But your right, I love Xavi and Iniesta, they are the main difference. Yet Real won the season before that, and weren't exactly miles away from winning this season? I don't deny a gulf in class, but its a long old season in which Barca will slip up, just like any other team will.

Villa Raul Ribery Alonso Kaka Ronaldo They still cant defend though and still dont come close to Messi, Xavi and Iniestsa. Still the Barcelona Vs MAdrid games should be worth a watch next season. Dokko
Madrid also need a manager........... Pellegrini. When was this announced? Edit: Found it, though SSN's haven't updated their site. So Pellegrini with Kaka, Valencia & Villa? Not bad.
ponsaelius
Nice to see ZiZou's still the world record transfer though. Much better player than Kaka ever will be. Kaka is £56 Million apparently, that tops the £45.6 Million paid for Zidane.
Neil
In euros due to the fluctuating exchange rate, Zidane is still the record holder at 73m, Kaka was something like 66. As far as I'm concerned though Kaka's the world record.
Tooj
Nice to see ZiZou's still the world record transfer though. Much better player than Kaka ever will be. Much better than most really. But it's a bit of a discredit to Kaka as on his day he's absolutely brilliant. Shame the last few seasons he hasn't really hit those heights he had previously. Although then again I really have a dislike for Real Madrid so I hope he doesn't really do anything of note.

Never saw enough of Ronaldo at his peak to be able to say whether he was any better or worse.

Dinho lad
Valencia are €600m in debt?! How the f*ck are clubs allowed to do that? Spending money on world class stars such as Hugo Viana and Patrick Kluivert, of course.
Shak
Villa and Kaka will fairly help Real close the gap. Replacing Guti and Higuain in the starting 11?
