Afellay to Barca for 3m Euros.

Is he gonna get a game?

Plenty.. Terrific player.

He won't make it imo. Good player, think terrific is a bit far.

Better than Ozil iyam..

I have to really debate that. Better physically yes, but mentally Ozil beats him and it's a tie on technique because Afellay can use both feet.

Ozil is the better player guys. Come on!

How can you say Afellay is terrific. He has never had any success in a better league and in Holland even Afonso Alves was dominating!

Ozil has been great for Real this season I find it difficult to see Afellay getting games directly with the way Pedro - Villa - Messi are playing. Will be a good option off the bench no doubt, but he has a lot to prove.

Ozil most certainly hasn't been great.

Ozil has been very good, its hard to get a mention in a team which has a player who gets all the media coverage. But has without a doubt been one of their top performer and for his first year he has really settled in well.

Werder Bremen's Hugo Almeida to Besiktas for £1.7 million (should've gone for him).

Atletico Madrid's Simao to Besiktas for £6 million (for a 31 year old, fucking hell!).

Bayern Munich's Martin Demichelis to Malaga on loan.

Manchester City are going after Espanyol's Victor Ruiz.

Stephane Sessegnon has demanded a move away from Paris St. Germain.

Hugo Almeida will prob get insane wages in Turkey.

And as for Sessegnon he would be a great asset, but I really don't care for players who "demands" anything.

No, he hasn't. He's been playing like Zidane against the likes of Málaga, Zaragoza and Racing but like his 11 year old son against the Barças, Sevillas and Valencias of this world. A Real Madrid friend of mine has nicknamed him "Mr Cellophane" given how pale he is and how he easily pulls and invisibility act when things get rough.

About Afellay, he'll give us much needed depth on the wings/AM positions. He might surprise us and be a great player, but at what we paid for him is practically a risk-free signing.

Sessegnon's fallen out with his manager, apparently, after he called him a shit player and an arsehole.

Although a possible alternative goalkeeper [to Pepe Reina] for Ferguson is Bayer Leverkusen's Rene Adler' date=' who has an shocking escape clause in his contract allowing him to join United if they meet the German club's valuation, thought to be nearly £20m[/quote']

Saw this on BBC's round up. So what's the escape clause? That if Man United offer enough, Bayer will give in? Like what happens with every transfer in the world? They've since taken the word 'shocking' out of it
