Dave
Yeah, my thoughts are you should listen to the interview again, because that's NOT WHAT HE SAID. Fucking hell, doing the tabloids' job for them here like.
Guest Urban Fox
What did he say? I heard that he was dissapointed with something to do with the meeting... :-[
Dave
So basically you're admitting you've not seen it, but posted that he had said that anyway? He was asked if he was going to be here next season, which he confirmed, then he said: 'I've told the players - and it might disappoint them (grins) - but I'm still here and I'm gonna be here, and I want to help take this club back up the table...' Looks like you've been listening to NE5 - he posted the same fibs over on Toontastic.

Dave
Sorry Urban Fox, I sound a little harsh there. We can just do without that kind of rumour-mongering right now.
Guest Urban Fox
Sorry Urban Fox, I sound a little harsh there. We can just do without that kind of rumour-mongering right now. Ha! I know what you mean - I re-read what I put and it does sound Oliverish. I only heard the interview once and I can't find a re-run anywhere (BBC site doesn't work at work) and I thought I heard "the meeting was good, though I'm dissapointed (with something that was agreed i.e. no money to spend, having to keep and play alan smith in all our games next year etc) but I will be here next year" But the previous post has transcribed it for me and it seems he was saying some of the lazier players will be dissapointed Keegan will be here next year as he'll kick them into the street with no shoes on. (or something)
Guest Heneage
Any word on friendlies? I normally find them out with working at SJP but unfortunately missed last game.
Guest BooBoo
Any word on friendlies? I normally find them out with working at SJP but unfortunately missed last game. Bloody hell, lets just enjoy some weeks free of that mob trying to play football before we start thinking about friendlies.

Didn't sound harsh in fairness, you were quite tame I thought. Harsh wouldbe calling him an idiotic rumour mongering cunt faced bastard of the highest order. If there's a player I truly like and admire like Del Piero its always cool to meet them and get their autograph, like the afore mentioned del Piero. Cronky
Just watched the last 12 minutes, and Lua Lua's sub appearance. I think we should use him more often. I don't care about his age. He's very, very, very good and the sooner he gets that bit of experience the better.

He's very, very, very good and the sooner he gets that bit of experience the better. How/where did he play? He played wide left in midfield, although I don't think he's left-footed. He made two or three good runs, lost it once I think, but generally held on to the ball well under pressure. What struck me is he's got good straight line speed, as well as good acceleration and a change of direction. His first touch on the ball looked excellent, and he got himself involved. He seemed to have no nerves at all. I've not seen him head the ball, but apart from that he really looked the complete package.
