Kimbo
BTW, I reckon his thinking is 'that useless bloke Taylor got one, so should I' or something like that. He got one last season. Cheeky cunt, if it's true.
Dave
BTW, I reckon his thinking is 'that useless bloke Taylor got one, so should I' or something like that. I'd imagine that's spot on. His agent's thinking, at least. If there's owt in it of course... Tbf that Caulkin usually gives us a fair deal.
KaKa
Any evidence that the story's not just column filling bullshit? Thought not. It's been lingering and now its in the Times. Owen obviously leaked it as he is livid that Milner is interfering with his efforts to seal another £100,00 a week contract.

I just remember it being in a few other papers earlier in the window (lingering was the wrong word perhaps), but now its in the Times! So Owen obviously ghost wrote the article and stuff. Guest shearer_united
On a sidenote though: I would like to see Milner wearing tigher/smaller shirt sizes than the loose ones he usually wear to reduce air-resistance while running, thus making him run faster. And yes, what i said was very irrelevant. Just wanted to say it.

Guest DazzaNufc1892
milner in themiddle is what ive been pleading for now for ages, played there for leeds originally under venables and england under 18's. Reminds me of scholes, technically very gifted, not much pace, but a good brain, which with the right coaching could be a very useful tool to us

garth
Zogs/Duff Guthrie Milner Jonas Is this going to be our midfield at the start of the season??? Take away Duffy Duck and that wouldn't be to bad, bit inexperienced! but all the same. Quite nice!

chicago_shearer
Zogs/Duff Guthrie Milner Jonas Is this going to be our midfield at the start of the season??? Personally I'd be terrified if that was our first choice midfield next season. Every club aiming for the top 6 or 7 in the league can piss all over that in terms of both depth and quality. thewellander
Zogs/Duff Guthrie Milner Jonas Is this going to be our midfield at the start of the season??? Personally I'd rather see: Zogs/Duff Guthrie Barton Jonas I did state start of the season, because I don't think Barton will be available. It's hard to say whether or not this formation will work, until we see Jonas suit up. But who knows, maybe Milner will find his stride in central midfield. I hope so. I think he's a good player and I'm desperate for him to succeed here.
toontownman
He has looked great there the majority of times he has played for the U21's. We shall see, its another option, wouldnt be a first choice, but we will see how injuries come about this year and if we can manage to snare a established creative midfielder before the window shuts.
