The whole club is rotten at the moment. We have an incompetent oaf as chairman and an ineffectual Mr Nice in the managers chair. He's ably supported by Terry McDermott and Lee Clark. Why should anybody expect progress to be made with these three organising the side? Hehe, clicked on this thinking it was anew thread, even more so after reading that first bit in bold. Wasn't till I got to 'Terry McDermott' I realised it was from 2006. Pretty damning that almost 10 years on the opening lines are still as relevant today. Both Graham Taylor and Sir Bobby publically said he wasn't a great footballer and would decline when the pace started to fade long before it did. Owen was an ego stroke for Shepherd.
