ujpest doza
Probably don't have any other option with Cisse/Campbell/Xisco injured and Shola jetlagged. Xisco ain't injured, just not in the PL squad, in the Euro squad only. Yes he is in the squad: Newcastle United – 22 squad players Player Home Grown 1 Amalfitano, Romain No 2 Ameobi, Foluwashola Yes 3 Anita, Vurnon San Benito No 4 Ba, Demba No 5 Ben Arfa, Hatem No 6 Cabaye, Yohan No 7 Cisse, Papiss Demba No 8 Coloccini, Fabricio No 9 Elliot, Robert Yes 10 Gosling, Daniel Yes 11 Harper, Stephen Alan Yes 12 Gutierrez, Jonas Manuel No 13 Krul, Timothy Michael Yes 14 Marveaux, Sylvain No 15 Obertan, Gabriel Antoine No 16 Perch, James Robert Yes 17 Simpson, Daniel Peter Yes 18 Taylor, Ryan Anthony Yes 19 Taylor, Steven Vincent Yes 20 Tiote, Cheik Ismael No 21 Williamson, Michael James Yes 22 Jimenez Tejada, Francisco No He's listed in the programme but apparently isn't in the PL squad, he is only in the Europa squad and is not in the managers domestic plans. Sifu
My mate mentioned today that we should bring Ranger back into the first team because we "might as well inject some energy".
Fenham Mag
Would have been an option from the bench today but sadly he has burned his bridges a long time ago.
Super Duper Branko Strupar
My mate mentioned today that we should bring Ranger back into the first team because we "might as well inject some energy". He has a point. Not that I think he should be in the team.
Guest palnese
He'd offer more than Shola, that's for sure.
Sifu
I don't want him anywhere near the team ever again. Heck, I'd sooner have Xisco in!
LRD
He's listed in the programme but apparently isn't in the PL squad, he is only in the Europa squad and is not in the managers domestic plans. He is in the PL squad. If there is any vacant spot(s) at the time of list submission, he will have to be in. That's how the issue arrived with Owen signing for Stoke. EthiGeordie
So after Pardew stupid statement for him not playing and training again he plays for the reserves tonight.

Kaizero
So after Pardew stupid statement for him not playing and training again he plays for the reserves tonight. We don't know if he's actually showed up for training these past weeks or not... As if.

pinkeye
Saw him on Saturday about quarter to three as I was walking up to the ground, he was driving into Stowell Street in his Range Rover. I heard a couple of lads behind shouting some dogs abuse at him. If he had any doubts that he would have a tough time being accepted back by the fans he will have little doubt now.... SEMTEX
He's a perfectly acceptable 4th choice striker option. Of course he's currently 3rd choice, but nothing else in our squad is a better option right now.
Kanj
Shola is far from a crock of shit man. He's perfectly good at what he does when coming on at the end of a match as a striker. Do we need a 3rd choice striker to play more? Yes, is that man Xisco or Ranger? Who the fuck knows - based on past history, Ranger couldn't buy himself a goal when he was getting time a few years back, and we don't even need to go into what Xisco has contributed here.
