TaylorJ_01
Awesome cameo appearance. Really helped change the game imo. Keep it up Ranger, you'll get your goal
SGSC
Far more effective as a sub for the last 20-25 minutes rather than a starter at the moment.
Hanshithispantz
Yeah, definatley and impact sub for the time being. That been said he's a better option than Lovenkrands from the start, we just don't have that option to change the game like we do when he's on the bench. Ginola
Brilliant when he came on today. Definitely. Unlucky not to grab himself a goal, but certainly made a big impact off the bench today.
Mick
He changes games when introduced at the right time You don't know that we wouldn't have done better if he'd came on earlier.
Mick
agreed. was excellent today, and has been a real impact off the bench in other matches, but he's not performed when started. however ranger and best seem to be close friends and i think they could build up a good understanding pretty quickly. might be something to consider. He's started 3 cup games this season and he scored in one of those.
Dinho lad
had he struck his shot like a banana today he would have scored. good shot nonetheless.

Ash
Did brilliantly today. The chance he had when he turned Squillaci then powered his shot away was the cleanest I've seen him hit the ball, great play. The way he chested the ball down to Nolan in the last minute was also superb.
JH
Was brilliant. Had two really good chances and nearly set up the winner.

Incognito
Anyone know who Niles team was as a kid ? he a Spud or Gooder? Lad I work with used to play football with him at school...he reckons he wasn't a stand out player.

Guest Tall Striker
Superb to have as an impact sub. Needs to translate it to a 90 minute performance and we're laughing our way to another 35m.
Guest Pie
He is a bairn. Read the Andy Carroll thread. Count the number of posters who slagged him off then moaned later. That is the life of the football fan I suppose. Not that he will reach those levels but he has the ability to make a very decent living (although he has probably already made more than I have and ever will make)
Guest Tdeans
He is BETTER than Caroll. Carroll was NOWHERE near this level at the age of 19.
Dokko
Perfect chance for him now to ignite his career, he won't get many like it here as I know we'll buy bigger names. He's got to look at Ameobi to see what happens when you don't take a chance while also looking at Carroll when you do, and what can happen in a year. End of the season he's the only striker I'd want to keep, the rest can go. Now is your chance to nail down your starting role Nile, don't fuk it up trying to be a gansta. ponsaelius
Hardly posted on here since the match, just trying to catch up on everything. Just like to say I thought he was excellent today when he came on. Ran at them, held up the ball, won headers and knock downs. He has a future here no doubt. Guest bmoregeordie
Needs to work on his finishing, but he is stronger than he looks. Though I don't understand why others are slagging off Best.

Guest
Think yesterday showed why he's better off the bench as an impact sub. Should have been on as soon as they went to ten men though.
The Merse
He should have been on earlier in the game - he has an ability to wriggle out of challenges and has really quick feet - he terrified them yesterday - fair play to the lad he was a big part of the general panic which overtook the arse and gave us the momentum we needed
