Wonder why this £8m offer for Johnson hasn't been mentioned on SSN (TV) yet?

Usually they mention stuff before it goes online?

Different sources.

skysports.com is just a name, it's not actually Sky Sports

£8 million is a risk. half that and i'd be happier.

The only risk is because of his alleged of the field problems. On the field he's an excellent player.

he's been injured for ages too.

Has he seriously been out for 6 months with a GROIN STRAIN?

he's hardly played since that first injury.

Oh right, cheers - I just assumed the website and TV channel(s) were one in the same.

Didn't Steven Gerrard start out life like that. I'm sure they called it something like growing pains at the time and the cure was something like taking out his wisdom teeth. Sounds stupid I know but I'm sure it was something daft like that.

First Barton, now this joker. Why are we spending good money on their problems while giving them our best players on the cheap?

To be fair to the board they have made decent money on most of the sales this would be the first low price and by the sounds of things we could get more money depending on what they win, number of games etc.

bit of a joke if we pay £8m for him, while its believed that we got £6m for Given.

Not entirely, he's just at the start of his career and Given's at the end of his.

The injuries are a bit worrying though.

Givens still got a good few years left, but yes Johnson has longer.

Money is supposedly tight, and we're still £2m out of pocket should this happen, if you like.

There website is far less reliable than there T.V. If it gets mentioned on the T.V i will start to believe.

The £2m which would technically be covered by the sale of N'Zogbia meaning we'd still have the £10m JK was promised at the start of the transfer window.
