oldtype Posted November 3, 2008 Share Posted November 3, 2008 Interested to see how they come out in the second half. Always seem to go really defensive and give up goals. It's a lack of fitness really. Our attacking players aren't fit enough to keep up the pace (Oba, Shola, Jonas, Barton) so we end up being very passive in the second period. Nobody Posted November 3, 2008 Share Posted November 3, 2008 Quite happy with that first half, tbh. Defending well and our passing has been better than of late. Barton is dominating in midfield, even though he has given the ball away a couple of times. Neither Jonas or Duff has really got going yet. Beye has been class, both defensively and going forward, while Enrique has been solid in defence, but not offered much offensively. Martins is looking a bit better than of late too, IMO.
